The copyright revisal was struck between Ubisoft and a "unknown" third-party game company, same thing happened for Banjo-Kazooie.
I don't want to say it's happening but it might be happening

Who else here was young enough to get the first Rabbids game thinking it'd be just like Rayman Revolution or Rayman 3 and had their whole view of video games being reliable shattered?
I'm pretty sure my distrust of any new video game coming out stems from the way Rayman betrayed me back then. It still hurts.

Yeah, it was back when I was still too young to think about looking up games on the internet or in magazines and just assumed that games I'd enjoyed in the past would continue to be good.
Rabbids threw all that in our faces and expected us to love it despite the fact it was completely different to what any of us were expecting. I've had trust issues in media since.

ironically enough, even though i was pretty young at the time i understood the game wasn't going to be like rayman 3 (which i loved) but still wanted it anyways. i thought it was just a small little in-between game like rayman m (or arena however you like to call it) to make players wait until rayman 4.
i'm still waiting.
