The online stuff is one of the most neat things about these games, but it also kinda sucks. It feels very lonesome when you're playing offline, no fun messages and stuff. Even seeing other people's ghosts running around is kinda fun, just gives this cozy feeling that you're out there doing the same stuff with other people

I miss playing this for the first time. I'm thinking of the levels now and they're super simple compared to the newer games, but it was still so exciting and fascinating. I feel like replaying this would be really underwhelming now. Though I guess that goes for all these games once you know where stuff is in the levels. I started replaying Bloodborne and I'm just speedrunning through everything
