What are your praises or complaints about this game?
I'm 76 hours in so obviously I'm enjoying it but man this game can be a real fucking grind. Plus I want to finish building the interstate system they have but it'll take a whole day's worth of playing just to get a a handful of done. What say you, fellow anons?
You dont need to build them all yourself just unlock the NPCs in that area to have other player resources add to them
Christopher Green
It was a great experience but the script needed a fucking editor and I did not feel a single cunt hair of emotion for Amelie she was the worst written of them all
Mason Stewart
I disagree, some people just cant handle Kojimas writing but there is nothing wrong with the script or the story
Jayden King
The amount of redundant dialogue and repetition was ridiculous. I say that as a Kojima fan. It felt like in each cutscene they were trying to explain what was going on in the plot to a 5 year old.
Grayson Collins
>I did not feel a single cunt hair of emotion for Amelie
you're arent supposed to, did you not beat the fucking game?
im amazed by how people here have to be led by the nose to every conclusion
Brody Mitchell
Because there is so much going on, even now many people didnt understand anything
Lincoln Parker
>The amount of redundant dialogue and repetition was ridiculous
I didn't feel this way at all.
Robert Walker
>haven't seen one other person who actually got what BB is and what the BBs in the ending are
shame that everyone missed what wasn't explicitly stated
Nathan Robinson
I had a dream that the next Deus Ex game took heavy inspiration from death stranding, It was third person and I saw adam jensen walking down a grassy hill and onto the beach, it had the exact same mechanics as death stranding thats all i wanted to say
Bentley Myers
Explain?
Cameron Gonzalez
My main complaint is how dead the world feels. I know due to the story it's supposed to feel dead because everyone's living underground, but I wish they would let you go underground and talk to people so you can see how people live instead of just seeing them in holograms. It all just feels very lifeless and lame. I need some kind of break from the monotony of the empty open world, you know?
Chase Nelson
5 EEs in game, 5 BBs in the ending EEs locked into position like cold corpses of final death, BBs moving like living beings Amelie constantly saying that she is inevitable and nothing can stop it etc-- hubris of the destroyer, delusion, not explicitly reality because life always comes back
For every EE there is a BB. BB means Big Bang. Every time some kind of entity causes mass death, there is an equivalent mass flourish of new life. As she is supposed to be the final EE, it also means Lou is the final BB, and will bring life on Earth to a new state of prosperity never seen before.
Babies, BBs, represent hope for the future, the one thing humanity always has left, direct contradiction of the hubris of destroyer, saying I'll just pick it back up again.
"Even the moon" suggests that Lou will have a guiding hand in taking humanity to the stars.
I'll keep coming.
Jaxson Gonzalez
great game, but I feel like the map could have been better. I wanted it to be bigger, and with less flat, boring areas
Nicholas Lopez
i'm so psyched that the PC version will be at least ass-backwards moddable
Carter Torres
>game about isolation and end of humanity >the world feels dead I wish I could just meet some people yeah no shit
Sebastian King
I liked it well enough but there's too many fucking cutscenes even when you're just doing really mundane shit.
I agree except for Lou being specifically part of it outside symbolic.
Ian Jenkins
>moddable >denuvo
Juan Torres
that part is more my personal interpretation but i feel the meat of what I said is outright something you were intended to get from the game, and, owing to the average intelligence of 2020 gamers, nobody really noticed it
Henry Smith
They patched most that out.
Bentley White
Kojima needs an editor. Mother of God, the dialogue and the story development what the fuck.
I LOVE the art of Yōshi Shinkawa Master of industrial design.
Forssell's background music is just the right amount of creepy. The rest of Sony Universal's music is an odd combination. It reminds me of the music that was released for the first Pokemon movie for some reason but without the right kick.
I like Sam. He's my favorite.
Those two are LITERALLY Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton. What the hell is their problem?
Golden Mask is an Amazon employee who goes to ALLAH SNACKBAR.
Guillermo del Toro is the only character that has a character arc.
This game made me buy a PS4. It's my first console in my life. I don't have regrets.
The core gameplay mechanics. I'm still thinking about it.
i doubt its gonna have denuvo. denuvo doesnt stop many forms of modding anyway
Luke Lewis
>doubt its gonna have denuvo I mean it's written right there on the steam page.
Connor Bailey
meh, could change their minds pre release
Brayden Peterson
Did they? I haven't played in a while so it'd be great if they cut down on the cutscenes for some of the mundane activities you do. I wouldn't actually mind going back to it if they made it easier to sit through those.
Levi Reyes
They should release the game as Free Software. Free as I'm freedom.
Ian Gutierrez
removed BT detector cutscene
Luke Nelson
Spoilers incoming but i want to talk about that bomb delivery and how it was an unfair dick move. By that point in the game every minute of gameplay has drilled into the player's mind that he was in charge. All he's been given since the start is player agency. It's been nothing but player choice after player choice on different scales. Suddenly though, the player has no agency on the matter. When i realized it was a bomb what did i do? I tried to go throw it away, i wasn't going to deliver that, i wasn't even going to take it as far as south distro when there was a perfectly good tar pit right next to lake knot. I kept running there as fast as i could and failing until i read the description and looked at the map at which point i had to pretend i didn't know it was a bomb, go along with it and wait for the cutscene where they go "jesus it's a bomb, go throw it in the tar pit". This is the first of two instances where the game does that. These two story moments are at odds with the gameplay and in fact stand at a complete opposite. I sure as hell didn't appreciate the whiplash, did you? This must be either a failure or an intentional dick move.
Yes. Menu lets flappy hand scene not happen after the first time in a new area. And those little scene are just X to skip instead of pause select skip.
Lincoln Cox
the point is to make you feel out of control there, user. way to miss the point with your 'tism.
Ian King
You can literally throw it in tar lake you retard stop lying
Henry Jenkins
No.
i see, let me beat you to make you appreciate the moments without beatings. A dick move.
Isaiah Gonzalez
>This must be either a failure or an intentional dick move. No, it's your retardation since going to the tar pits and disposing it is something many other players did.
Nolan Sullivan
>No Motherfucker you are lying. You can go straight to tar lake and throw the bomb in, you dont have to go to Fragile at all.
Chase Cruz
the performances were fine for the most part, but I wanna know why the fuck the acting in this specific scene is so bad. just fucking look at this shit. what the fuck youtu.be/A-8KbfLP84A?t=317
Ayden Hernandez
No you can't there's a huge red square and if you run out of its bounds the bomb explodes. I had a fucking speed skeleton, i'd run as fast as i could and thry to throw it with power gloves, shit explodes in 10seconds as soon as you walk past the line.
