My god, is Halo 1 the only good game in this series? I've only played 1, Reach and 2 now and hope 3 will be good.

But holy shit are Halo 2 maps terrible. Unorganic, blocky, ugly, repetitive, terribly designed, imbalanced as fuck. Weapons, vehicles, etc. are retarded too.

Maybe I should have specified that I'm talking about CTF. Haven't tried the other modes yet and in Halo I always liked CTF the most (while I hate it in other games).

Granted, non-CTF maps in Halo 1 sucked too.

After infinite Microsoft has to fire them off the Halo franchise right? 4 was the best one they've done and that's only because of how god awful guardians and the MCC has been. 4 brought in killstreak perks that nobody wanted outside CoD players. In guardians they then double down on the CoD cloning and make it basically CoD:Spartan Edition. Then MCC i don't even know where to start. Literally unplayable mess at launch that couldn't so anything but run single player offline campaigns and even those has bugs out the ass. They then gave everyone ODST for free because of how shit was and even now today the game STILL has issues that they haven't fixed. Just hire bungie back or let the series die with whatever traces of dignity it still has.

it would be better with AR and SMG starts though

ODST was one of the worst games I ever played. Reach wasn't as bad as expected
