I am incredibly nervous about the 4make.

Resident Evil 4 is well regarded in most gaming communities as one of the best if not the very best action games ever made. It also represented a pretty harsh departure from what the series had previously been known for.

The 3make was clearly an afterthought that they only made out of a sense of obligation before the 4make.

Capcom understands that this is their FF7 Remake, their OOT remake. Resident Evil 4 is the most critically acclaimed and popular game they ever made, and they are going to want to maximize profits from its remake as much as possible.

So how are they going to fuck it up?

I want them to stop remaking and either focus on the core series or do some spinoffs in the new remake style. 4 and 1 have aged fine and the team doing the remakes fundamentally doesn't understand survival horror or suspense building .

RE already has a remake and it's the best remake thus far.

But hey, they have the chance to unfuck CV and RE0.

Not as good as classic RE games (1-CVX) but leagues better than 4-6 type games. I really enjoyed it too except it did really slow to a crawl during the ship part which i didn't like.

The opening hours left a very strong impression on me, after you find your wife and meet jack i mean. Once you get to roam around the house was when i got all tingly inside.

REmake pacing is worse than RE1.

It greatly affects movement, exploration and the overall speed and pacing. I don't hate it, it's just a chore to play for those reasons. To the point I'd rather play Dead Aim or Gun Survivor.

I just want an open world survival game set in Racoon City on the RE engine.
