Name a better sub weapon in the franchise than the Recoil Rod, holy shit. I really wished screen crunch wasn't a thing in these games so i could truly appreciate how much verticality and distance you get off pogoing with the recoil rod. I love it so much.

Start with Mega Man 2 or Mega Man X. Avoid any Mega Man game that was released on a Sony console except X4.

my S rank autism + getting bonus shit for reaching S rank made me get off the DS version and emulate all the games so i could savestate the beginning of each stage just to made restarting easier. fun game though, Zero is badass.

Fuck off. I got into mega man this year. Played 1 - 7 and X1 - X5. X5 is flawed but kino and MM2 is overrated as fuck.
