I've owned every single Playstation alongside a high end PC and this is honestly the first generation of Playstation I'm seriously considering not getting. The PS4 was a glorified Bloodborne machine for me until the FF7 Remake finally came out and even then I could have just waited for the inevitable PC release. Most of its exclusives are just incredibly boring and bland. As things are looking right now I'd rather just put the money towards an Ampere card instead of the PS5. I don't care if I pay more initially for PC as it's a vastly better experience.

This. The PS3 Slim after the price drop was a legitimately good deal on a console. Relatively cheap and you got free online with it. No more payments needed. This gen has been a shitshow. Paid online ruins all the savings you could have had by purchasing a console. At this point these is zero reason outside of exclusives to ever go with a console anymore.

My 5 year old card can still play multiplats better than any console.

Don't overstimate the need to upgrade a PC with console tech moving at glacial pace.

There will probably be phones that can outperform PS5 by the time that gen is done.

800 bucks won't even give you half the specs of the ps5

Pretty sure this one can and I'd say it can be built for around that. Even if it's a little bit more, it still can play EVERY GAME MADE BEFORE NEXT YEAR AND EVERY GAME AFTER IT so it's infinitely better no matter what.

40fps on an unknown development build from a chinese source while the same source says they're aiming to have it at 60fps on consoles when it releases next year, suggesting if the source is reliable then the engine isn't very optimized yet
