It's going to look like dq11

I fear it'll be one big mod of Trials of Mana.

it will be split into 3 parts,
game 1 will only cover up to the first lavos encounter.

And Queen Shala will show up in 1000 AD, ghost like versions of the main characters will have gone back in time to change the presentpast, nd Chrono will talk.

chrono get ipad

You more or less already play Time Janny by saving Chrono.

I could see this being amazing or mediocre at best. If it's a traditional RPG I'd like to keep that fixed camera with more duals, more attack options, and in depth animations like in DQXI
If it's an action RPG the combat system could be like Kingdom Hearts or the FF7 with certain buttons triggering certain dual techs or other mechanics like blocks and counters

this unfortunately. we'll never see anything like trigger again

it was already remade for the DS

Please god keep Nomura far away from this

>game is called chrono trigger
>mc is called crono
Why

who said you had to save him

>Uematsu is too old and with health problems to redo the whole soundtrack. Even in FF7 Remake he's not working hard because of his old age and health.
Mitsuda composed most of the OST. Now I have no idea what the fuck Mitsuda is up to these days anyways.

Five character limit.

>chrono trigger renmake

Remake Chrono Trigger, Radical Dreamers and Chrono Cross and mash them together.

real shit, get the guys who handled dragon ball fighterZ graphics to handle chrono trigger and try to imitate the anime cutscenes as seen in the PS1 chrono trigger port for the actual game for maximum nostalgia.

thank me later.

chrono trigger's ost took a lot out of him, pretty sure he had major sleep deprivation by the end of it. I hope there isn't one, but if there ever is a remake I doubt he'd want much to do with it. unless they pay him an ungodly amount

Leave Chrono trigger be. Now FF VI on the other hand

Good.

Id rather see a 2d remake than a 3d remake

This game wont translate well to 3d at all

Chrono Cross and Radical Dreamers were Kato's Fuck You to the Dream Team. May they both rot in the legacy estore.

>unless you want NOMURA and his team of hacks over at FF7 Remake to do this in which case be careful what you wish for you might just get it.

This is terrifying. Honestly SE shouldn´t be allowed to touch squaresoft games but since that´s not an option anymore i do hope FF VII sacrifice is not in vain. The way i see it as long as they focus all their attention on VII the other games are safe...

>Kato's Fuck You to the Dream Team
What happened? Did he have some beef with them?

>3rd point
Despite making less than 13% of the soundtrack, Uematsu is 20% of the Dream Team.

as someone who has never played Chrono Trigger, should I play the PC version or emulate the snes version?

They need to fucking reremake secret of Mana with the same effort trials got and then remake sword of mana

Kato fucking loathed the production woes brought by dealing with 3 RPG gods. He was also upset they kept throwing his stories out and making edits.
He took on RD and CC for Squaresoft as a way of getting even, despite saying he was passionate, he really just wanted to sate his jealousy that all their ideas turned out better than this.

Emulate SNES (or play the PS1 version for a few animated scenes).
The PC version is a port of the iOS/Android version and looks/feels like a phone game as a result.

ds version

SNES for sure, while PC patched the launch issues it's an embarassment due to it being a mobile port. Technically the DS version has the most content but the SNES version felt better to play on an emulator
