Name one other vidya where you can construct a functioning scientific calculator that was entirely emergent gameplay and not intended functionality?

I don't get it, all are equivalent

I swear I've seen the bottom one before. Is it to do with splines?

It's the Fourier series representation of exp(x).

I made a bit calculator in minecraft
Don't have the autism to go any further than that though

They arent, last one is different. Whoever made this doesn't understand fourier series

zachitronic games

It's the Taylor series of the original definition of Eulers number, right? Or maybe it's the De Moivre's work put into a Taylor series. One of the two.

Is there a recommended one to start with?

Unironically Mario Maker. People have made calculators in it. Granted, I don't know if they're as complex as the ones in Minecraft.

This is cool as hell, but I know next to nothing about Minecraft. How does this even work?

Right, should've figured. Thanks.

Just watch the trailers for them and see which one's gameplay looks the most fun to you. If you want to start on the easier end, I'd say Infinifactory or Opus Magnum

that's fucking incredible, what the fuck

It's incredible what you can do with those redstone circuii

Keke is Push > Push Keke into Is of Wall Is Stop > Keke is You > Displace Wall or Stop > Win Is Baba

the game of life is turing complete

Is there any point to studying mathematics if you aren't 140+ IQ? To be any less than that will have you struggling to see the big picture that underlie theorems beyond kind of getting it.

>Is there any point to studying mathematics if you aren't 140+ IQ?
Yes.

Understanding and applying math is mostly repetition and lots of studying.
Also it's useful in a lot of other fields.

>useful in a lot of other fields.
