How many hours did you put into it?

8 or 9

Gym battles, raid battles (before learning about the exploit) and the music were the only good things about this game. Everything else was either below mediocre or garbage

Will GameFreak learn their lesson?

New designs were for the most part good as well

Calling it AAA in any sense but the amount of money spent on it is generous. An indie dev could have done a better job.

i put in 60+ hours before getting bored

Are you alright in the head?

When have Pokemon games ever been AAA affairs?
They've always been glorified indie games.

>AAA in any sense but the amount of money spent on it is generous.
That's literally the only definition, and Gamefreaks can barely do entry AA in term of budget.

Hard disagree, the majority are complete dogshit.

When they started charging 60 bucks for less content than previous generations.

It's a fucking joke considering the absolute enormity of the franchise. Fans deserve a much better game but won't get it, ever, because retards keep buying the games regardless of quality.

Yeah, but

I went into gen 6 optimistic. Played it and it wasn't great. Played the next few games afterwards and it was more shit than the last. Had to force myself through Sun and Moon, what a shit fucking game. Fell for the fucking meme that was UltraSun UM, I deserve that, but I was sure as shit that I wouldn't buy SwSh and even all these months later, not having bought it, I don't even feel like wanting to play it at all
>inb4 I get called unova fetus or whatever
I played them all since gen 1

Worst AAA game I played besides Pokemon gen 7 is Fallout 4

Being a Pokemon fan is like an abusive relationship. I keep waiting for change but it’s the same old shit. Gen 8 was the first time I didn’t buy a Pokemon game.

I got 400 ish hours out of it because for the first time in the series competitive is both accessible and not shit. Clover is really fucking good and free if you want single player Pokemon though.

>Worst AAA game I played besides Pokemon
Pokemon isn't AAA. It's Monday, you can drop the "I'm a retard for Sunday threads" larp.

Sword and Shield competitive worse than the last game. More accessible yes but not better at all

It’s a lot better, you don’t have stupidly broken legendaries/UBs beating everything into submission. Talking about cart ranked play mostly doubles not showdown btw

Instead you have stupid broken dynamax pokemon beating everything into subsmission

>it sold 17 millions
For sure. Why put in effort, when people would buy it regardless? Expect more low quality pokemon games

Yet. Legendaries are coming back with dlcs anyway, you just have to pay now for stuff that was free before.

They learned that with gen 7 tho.

It’s literally the same shit as every game in the series where you can trade to get them.

>broken legendaries/UBs
Mythical pokemon are meant to be strong. That’s what the tiers were for as well.
They claimed to be focusing on making the game more competitive as an excuse for other features missing. They fucked that up entirely.
>dynamax is broken
>limiting to potential by cutting pokemon while keeping notoriously unbalanced pokemon
>one of the best dynamax Pokemon is only available if you buy let’s go
>dragon dance tm
>Galarian dramanitan and dracovish

Not the ones not included in the game

>>one of the best dynamax Pokemon is only available if you buy let’s go
Didn't Gigantamax Pikachu/Eevee just start appearing in raid battles?

Just checked, only for a week. It’s better but it’s still kinda cunty

This game made more than 1 billion in sales for what could be estimated 10 million on development costs.
Gamefreak is genious

Gen 7 still had more content than gen 6 and 8

More like the best.
