I find is sad as fuck that RPGs in general lost any atmosphere.
They feel like checklist simulators with lifeless copy paste levels, NPCs, quests and HUD with that.soulless minimalistic design etc.
There is no more feel of adventure.

Kuei-jin are not REALLY vampires, they're simply classified as such for ease of making them fall under Masquerade. It's more like spirit possessing a dead body. For example, Kuei-jin cannot create another Kuei-jin.

Kuei-Jin are an ungodly abomination of lore. They're only fun in bloodlines because you don't know anything about how they actually function.
They're not really vampires, closer to revenants. They're spirits in bodies, and don't sire like Kindred. If you thought vampire politics were bad, get ready for the bullshit of the east. Same sort of political nonsense but much more authoritarian and filled with eastern mysticism.
