Has there been another character whose name and motives got absolutely dragged through the mud in the sequel?
He fucking went from >awkward genius scientist who means well to > sociopath that starved his loved to death and involved his son in conceptual experiments
The radio guys from MGS3 became the Patriots in MGS4
Connor Evans
Well the fact was that Kojima fucked up by making Huey such a niceguy in PW he had to make some sudden changes to his personality since he is portrayed as almost a devil and a pure asshole in MGS2
Noah Turner
You already knew he'd turn out to be the kind of asshole that drowns himself on top of his step daughter.
Jason Young
was any of that directly linked to hooey though?
Xavier Perez
It's a miracle that Otacon turned out so much better than his fuck up of a dad.
Evan Russell
>dragged through the mud that would imply that it was false
Caleb Walker
But best of all. Imagine getting cucked by your son.
Creating monster robot genocide machines for crazy people != means well
Michael Barnes
yeah
Landon James
it's more that he was just otacon in pw than anything else. he had no personality of his own
Bentley Peterson
It was already suspicious when he changed sides then immediately started designing another nuclear mech for Big Boss, and then after he was "kidnapped" he designs yet another one. He never meant well, he just cared more about making cool robots than anything else and didn't give much of a fuck about the consequences.
Caleb Howard
MGS5 literally shows you audio recordings of him doing this stuff while he continues to say 'No! I never did that!'
John Williams
This honestly, whether that was Kojima's intentions from the beginning or not what we got was WAY more interesting than "Le family r carbon copy" bullshit. It was an interesting twist on his character and you're bullshitting yourself if you think anyone gave a fuck about Huey prior, you'd be a delusional retard actually.
Does anyone else unironically enjoy that stupid 'zoom and bloom' shot with the *shine* sound effect that Kojima uses in every character intro and cutscene?
I know it's overused, but I still enjoy it every time.
Tyler Morales
You've been crying about Huey for quite some time. Yes yes I know you would like to know how long. I'm afraid it's been 5 years.
Gavin Perry
shouldn't the checkmark be by the wolf considering it's hueys poster?
is MGS5 worth a replay these days? i heard that they made the motherbase microtrasaction trap shit a lot more punishing to push you towards the cash shop
Austin Rodriguez
Motherbase stuff can be 94.3% ignored if you only want to play the story. If you do a replay and don't care about grinding, I'd recommend a new save to get the full story/scenes and be able to pet tiny ddog again.
Gavin Parker
Just finished it myself and managed to expand just using free MB coins; suprising how many people are still grinding away in FOB and actually give a fuck, I seem to get absolutely rolled in every daily league I join
Gavin Garcia
Snake should've been the one on the boat desu
Aaron Ortiz
Mgsv is a literal piece of shit and the worst game in the franchise, why some people still trying to discuss it's plot in a serious way will always be a mystery for me.
Owen Edwards
Cause it's literally a masterpiece and the best game in the franchise.
Secret ending would have been cool, interested to see how the Mother Base team strength would have tied into the fight with Sahelanthropus
Jack Green
I remember bunnyhop saying it was brilliant how they showed an innocent man being accused by terrorist of crimes he didn't commit. Thats when i realized George was Dunning Kruger.
Michael Scott
>i heard that they made the motherbase microtrasaction trap shit a lot more punishing to push you towards the cash shop
It was like that from the beginning, you can barely build anything without buying materials since every FOB after the first one has ridiculous inflated costs.
