quick rundown?
I remember when I used to read TV Tropes, until that irritating anti-adblock popup shit started popping up. Went back recently and some pages are still fun to read like "Unwinnable by Mistake" or "Rare Item Drop" but anything with nightmare fuel is a fucking joke. Didn't they end up making whole extra sites just for Nightmare Fuel and Fridge Logic?
The Desert of the Knaaren in Rayman 3.
I hate how you can always tell something on tv tropes was written by an autist because they use italics, bold, all caps and ellipsis for emphasis
Because tv tropes is pure unmitigated autism that’s somehow worse than deviantshart.
AND HOW
i hate that captivating shithole website
the content made me more jaded toward media
the posters made me a misanthrope
THIS troper fears for all who would think is okay...
TV tropes is entertaining light reading if you don't involve yourself in the infinite autism of the community
I think they stopped using those. Like you can tell when that entry was made because of certain behaviors.
The place is very autistic although I will admit I visit the site for old works.
>found them on fplus years back
>dont know which media i am more ashamed of consuming
they are both just so completely fucking malformed now
Can't argue there, I figured that out the moment I read the "additions" they made to the Evil Overlord List in a separate page where literally almost all of them are just making the overlord into a hero for "PR" reasons.
i was literally about to make a THIS TROPER remark, fucking hell
all they read was "this tropeeeeeer...."
I heard a rumor that this was why the ESRB bumped the rating from an E10 to a Teen rating
what the fuck did I just read in fact of course?
glad I'm not the only one.
Its all shit I know already and I fucking hate it
A shame that our favorite Arthur character didn't get a role.
haha DAE read tvtropes for hours?!?! hahahahaha lmfao its so funny! media reuses ideas and take inspiration from other media!!! HILARITY !!!!
>the pages infer things about the game that are just their own dumb personal theories or are just flat-out wrobg
>The entire Troper Tales section
That shit was both hilarious and the most cringe-inducing shit ever conceived.
This is intense autism even for TV Tropes. You have to put on some thick fucking goggles and be prepared to reach way out for most of these.
a stripmall for discount headcanon and fourthhand memes
i recognize this typing style
IS THIS ONE OF THE GUYS FROM THAT FUCKING "THE EAST SIDE OF ELMORE" OR WHATEVER THAT WEIRD AS FUCK ARTHUR FANSITE WAS?
I don't see anything "disturbing" here. is it just another case of "we haven't had any drama for 2 weeks so let's just pick the next best thing"?
>Arthur autism
You do not want to go down this cesspool holy fuck
troper tales and fetish are gone from the site
it's a case of extreme autism, i think someone summarized it best as it being some adult guy super insecure about actually being scared by a kid's show so he has to inflate/exaggerate the tvtropes nightmare fuel page with whatever he can
That's why I said "was"
Bravo Kirkbride.
The only real horror about this game is how the fuck-knuckle devs have handled the DLC for A Hat in Time.
I think its less actually being scared by a kids show, and more being embarrassed about liking a kids show so they make this shit up to make it seem more mature than it really is.
Story has a main character? That's a trope. Main character has a spurring event force him into action? That's a trope. Literally anything ever happens to the main character? That's a trope. The main character makes literally any type of friend or enemy? That's a trope too.
Everything's a fucking trope for these autistics. The entirety of tvtropes is written by and for 110 IQ midwits who are just barely smart enough to recognize patterns but not able to understand not every event in a story needs to be autistically chronicled and categorized, which is why you get autistic fan theories because these retards can't just understand sometimes a cigar is just a cigar
actually yeah, that's probably it
Post the best wikino
I never read those, I didn't ask for fanfiction
>go to TVTropes to find some new tropes
>always end up back at pages I've read 100 times, looking for new entries in it
I just really like villain tropes I guess.
The site is made for retarded arm chair critics that point out re-occuring themes that don't actually bother any normal person.
I don't get why anyone would use that website.
I remember a while back someone on Zig Forums tried making a Wikia devoted to characters kissing and the thread devolved into a raid. I remember taking part and making a Hershey's article (because Hershey's Kisses). It got so bad the owner closed the Wikia down.
This dialog reads like Dwarf Fortress conversations
>WMG
>this character is a time lord
What? I've seen this shit in passing while my daughter watching Saturday shows. The fuck does this mean?
I had reddit bait wikis. Weird autistic wikis are cool, it's gay and retarded when normies make their own wiki pages to bait for attention. You can always tell what was written by a normie or what was written by a graphomanic
