Is there any benefit to learning Total War Shogun 2 before moving onto this game?

Tomb Kings are great, BUT, be warned, they are a slow start.

Not really. Warhammer is very different with the introduction of flying, large, etc units, magic and a lot of other things. But Shogun is still great.

How long do multiplayer games take in this?

Same. Also don't feel like playing any of the other factions without the DLC since it feels like I'm missing out on troops etc. and will have a incomplete experience

There's at least 1 more DLC before we hear anything on Game 3, and presumably Troy will come out before we get that DLC

Well shit, I guess I’ll buy it. I don’t play greenskins or gay knife ears but I do love killing them. Wether it’s with warp lighting or an organ gun barrage there’s nothing quite killing lesser races

Shogun 2 is great if you're blind to nostalgia.

If you never played TW then for a bit and you probably will restart quite a few times. At least 30 hours, I kind of never payed attention gametime. When you get used to it it's not very hard or slow on normal difficulties, I mostly waste time watching animations desu

Settra is one of the best LL in general, he provides massive global public order bonuses that lets you focus on expansion, and helps to offset the higher difficulty settings malus to public order.

I mean.... even if you don't buy the DLC they are in game, it's just that only the AI can play the 2 LL's or recruit the units..... the Greenskin faction update and Imrik are still free
