>pleb filter
Yeah, it successfully keeps people with taste from buying it while keeping all the redditors in.
There isn't much to get unfortunately. Hideo Kojima likes to juggle with a lot of concepts, but the man can't write a coherent, meaningful, mature story to save his life.
because they watched it so they didnt bother experiencing it.
It tries to tell a serious story but i's so fucking cringy and dumb. Where do I even begin?
>Die-Hardman
>Heartman
its too weird for most people
Is that... is that.. RICK AND MORTY?
>Using the deceased's sperm, Lockne's eggs, and Mama's uterus, the two sisters were able to create Lockne a child that would be carried to term by Mama. However, during a terrorist attack, Mama was crushed under the rubble of a hospital while waiting to get a cesarean section. She inadvertently survived by "giving birth on the other side", resulting in the baby manifesting as a harmless beached thing.
>Heartman began his studies of the Beach after losing his family in a unique manner; while he was at a hospital undergoing heart surgery, his wife and daughter returned home to retrieve something for him - only to find themselves caught in two simultaneous voidouts which left a heart-shaped crater.
>How EEs are created is unclear, but they possess such a deep connection to the Beach that they can be considered inseparable from it. [...] EEs cannot willingly go against their purpose to cause a mass extinction, but can seemingly bend the rules to delay or lessen the extinction event. Amelie reveals that the previous EEs had the power to end all life, but each chose to let life prevail in the end, due to their own attachment to the living world.

I do get it and it's a neat idea but that doesn't mean it isn't slow, repetitive (even if intentional, still applies), and hamfisted in its storytelling/theming.
>performing boring labor and stealth to get trickle-fed an okay plot
Could easily be achieved by grinding in an MMO and listening to an audiobook but I'm not dumb enough to waste my time doing that either
>what if we make an arthouse indie game but Sony gives us $300 million
You should be putting "game" in quotes not "get"
it filters people with good tastes. So much the game was considered a flop by Sony
Why isn't it rick in the amazon suit and morty in the jar?
>Heartman is nicknamed after the way his wife and daughter died
>A dinosaur decided not to nuke all life
Top kek
deeply superstitious peasant island folk CANNOT divorce themselves from the supernatural
Plebs gonna pleb
Because that would be actualy funny.
If you have to work hard to "get" a game, then it's not a good game. A good game is good an fun from the moment you pick up your controller. You should not have to do any internal twisting of concepts and having to convince yourself that working for Amazon and dropping packages off at the same 4 huts is good game design.
>b-but I herd some musicwhen I wuz doin it!
You fucking assclown. Go eat grass with the rest of the ruminants.
Because burgers are not people
rent free yuropoor
Burgers are too busy working and following their passions to sit around in their mud huts twiddling their dicks over Euro Truck Simulator 3: CHVRCHES Edition
I forgot this crime against video games existed was shat out half a year ago. Thanks ,OP you literal faggot.
I hope she sees this, user
It's an acquired taste, just like drinking your own piss
>country with the most players

What did yurotranny mean by this?
There's nothing to get. Either you enjoy it from the start or you don't. Some people do, some people don't, same as any other game.
OP is faggot before anyone asks
>walking sim
this is the main reason why I didn't get it. Gameplay looks so boring and unfun.
Then you may as well be asking "why doesn't everyone on earth like postal service simulators"? Hard as it may be to believe, not eveyone is going to be able to see this as "fun".
what's mars like these days?
just finished it yesterday. Even though the game was for the most part too easy even on the hardest difficulty, I really enjoyed the gameplay, especially how story missions can be tense when you don't have the chiral network to back you up and don't know the area you are going to and have no idea what to expect, having to hope you brought enough of the right supplies. Then regular deliveries can be super comfy once you build your roads and support structures but some could still offer a bit of a challenge if you select premium and go for Legend of Legends and its a delivery to a rough area.
The story really went downhill after the Deadman chapter and really took a shit on itself after the 2nd Cliff chapter but I didn't read all the mail and interviews yet so I won't say the ending totally didn't make sense but I still have a lot of questions.
Why was Sams bb/Lou so special? Why couldn't Deadman find any info on its background?
How was Cliff able to pull all the shit he did? neither Amilie or Higgs had no reason to help him like Deadman suggested and he had no reason to give a shit what either of them were trying to do.
Why was Sam's relationship with Bridget/Amilie so weird? Amilie treats him like a younger sister most of the time and he seems to love her then he randomly starts not giving a fuck and resenting her, then they start giving off borderline incestuous vibes. Why did he hate Bridget so much long before he learned the truth about his past. Why was his memory of his time spent with Amilie as a kid so shitty until he suddenly remembered everything at a plot convenient moment.
And why would Amilie have Higgs working for her to supposedly bring about human extinction but Higgs still needs to follow Sam and need the chiral network to find her even though later they said his "bb" should have connected him directly to her beach and further how in the fuck was Bridget able to be up on the beach with Amilie Cliff and die hardman?
am I retarded?
