Feel sorry for ya. Such a massive dullard you cant even enjoy this game's brilliance.

Okay OP what about this children's collect-a-thon platformer failed to meet your obviously non child level expectations 18 years after its release.

All about this game is a worse version of Mario 64 retard

you're garbage
this thread is garbage

Have you finished the game?

CINCO CINCO CINCO CINCO CINCO

Yes, you're right. Kazooie sucks.
BUT.
It was a tech demo and experiment that led to the creation of Banjo Tooie. For all its flaws we must appreciate the missteps of Kazooie because they brought us Tooie, an actual good game

Yes

retard

you know I’m right

It has different mechs than mario but the overall jumping into a paint + collect stuffs is pretty similiar.

Wouldn't call it worse version, but a different take on mario 64 formula.

I beat it yesterday, it was great.
How is Tooie?

Even better

Better and worse somehow.

>walking and collecting sim is gameplay XD

Glad this genre died

bigger, better but more frustrating

Fuck off smashnigger

Based. Every couple of minutes playing this, I thought to myself "This is one of the greatest N64 games of all time? Why does it feel so average?"
Cringe.

far worse but still enjoyable

I guess Zig Forums falls for any bait, no matter how obvious

You don't jump into paintings on Banjo Kazooie user.

I won’t deny it was a technical marvel for the n64 but I do not like Metroid styled games
>explore level
>encounter some weird impassable puzzle that you need a skill or something in a later level
I never know if I’m missing something or I’m meant to come back and maybe I’m too retarded but how am I to remember that particular puzzle or wall is there 8 hours later when I finally get the skill to pass it. Maybe I’m low IQ but I prefer the self contained levels

For example isn’t there something in like the first level that you can’t even bypass until you interact with something in one of the final levels?

It is shit. The kids that played and liked this held their pencil with a full fist.

good music though

Better imo but some of the worlds are too big for their own good. I'm doing a replay and currently on grunty industries it's very confusing at first even after you figure out how to get inside. Overall its also a bit annoying to keep track of where you have been. The revamped note system is infinitely better with there only being 17 per world 16 in batches of 5 and a treble clef worth 20 and they save. One other thing to expect going in is if you play the levels in order do not expect to get everything in your first go. Every world (except maybe the last one) has a Jiggy or some other collectible that requires interaction with or a move from another world usually one you haven't been to yet. To my recollection that only happens in Kazooie once if you go to Freezeezy Peak before Gobi's Valley because of the sled race as Banjo. That also makes the world feel a lot more cohesive though as there are often connections between worlds and a train that will take you between most worlds. You get a sense these are all locations in the same place rather than a bunch of disconnected worlds not having any relation.

kazooie is a tutorial for tooie

More epic, more complex and more boring

it feels big for the sake of being big

Tooie is an actual game rather than a tech demo like Tooie

Most of mario 64s objectives came down to climbing the same mountains multiple times up until different points. Banjo had more exploration, minigames and context.

cute
