Okay, now THIS is epic.
Okay, now THIS is epic
Just like in your chinese webms
6 billons dollars well spent.
>he forgot to turn on the gravity drive.
That's what he gets.
>there are people that spent money on this game
>9 years development time and $30 million dollars
hilarious, if only it wasnt so expensive
>$30 million
$300 million
>299.9 million for 3d models and artists and marketing
>0.1 million for game play
>$300 million
Try over 550 million dollarydoos by now.
If you spent $1000 real dollars and it flies away like that can you get it back or is it gone for good?
If you have it properly insured ingame you can get it back.
IIRC ships you pay cash money for are insured forever so you can always replace them.
what the fuck is wrong with this frame rate, every single webm i see from this game looks like the game run on 20fps
>complaining about physics bugs in a pre-alpha video game
>most money on graphics, little on gameplay
describes the industry as a whole pretty well
>years in development
>still a shit game
>development since 2011
>$550 mil+ budget
>still in pre alpha
>physics bugs in a physics based space game
Make me think of that chinese webm where a guy dropping a wheelbarrow somehow causes an explosive reaction and get fucking engulfed in flames
Post yfw you didn't fall for the Scamcitizen meme
No, Life-time-Insurance is something only certain packages get. Most insurances that are attached to packages you can buy on their website are temporary (e.g. 6 month insurance)
Are you saying that you can lose a ship permanently you paid money for?
the only relevant things are the finished product and where all that money went, not how long it's been in development. team fortress 2 took years to make and was great. duke nukem forever took years to make and ended up awful. but neither of those games took money from the plalyers before they were released
who gives a shit about bugs in unfinished software? i mean other than the idiots that throw money at an "early access" scam like sc.
I'm not sure how they want to handle it in the release version but I suppose if you don't have insurance on a ship you don't get it back unless you continue to pay the premium.
As much as everyone who spent a cent on this got scammed, it is a really cool idea. I remember back in the Operation Flashpoint days I found a mod for a full sized aircraft carrier with an explorable interior, I spent hours just walking around inside it. The idea of having a fully functional spaceship version of that is just too good. I wish the Devs were actually capable of it.
you're lucky if you scratch 60fps with a high end rig
>tfw will never ever get my 30 dollars back
am I the only one that gets quite autistic about this sloped UI text? I think simulating it being on the inside of a helmet visor or something. it's annoying as fuck, just make it flat and normal
>$30
I spent $40, who cares
Just take notes and move on
That's one of the cooler things about the game though, the "real" UI. Same thing with the physicalized weapons, magazines, and ammo.
