Which is the best Elder Scrolls game?

1. Oblivion (+++++)
2. Morrowind (+++++)
3. Skyrim (++++)
4. Daggerfall (++++)
5. Online (+++)
6. Arena (++)

>games that come with titties no mods needed
Daggerfall
>shitty games
the rest

Morrowind was the last good ES game

The pirate one

Morrowind due to having the most unique setting and quests. Never gonna forgive Bethesda for canonically destroying the most interesting part of Tamriel.

Redguard was just a bootleg tomb raider, and it didn't even had nice tits.

Arena who knows? Has anyone actually played it?
Daggerfall may be the worst game ever made.
Morrowind was a bad game with an outstanding main quest.
Oblivion was two steps forward one step back. It fixed a great deal of Morrowinds faults but the scaling is horrid.
Skyrim was the most polished of the three but took a step back on side and faction quests. They went with choice and consequence but lacked Oblivions charm.
E$O nobody cares.
Legends nobody cares.
The adventure games nobody cares.

None of them are perfect but Skyrim came the closest.
I don't hate any , well Daggerfall but that wasn't Todd's fault, and actually enjoyed all the modern mainline TES games.

The dungmer fans are such cunts the devs hate them enough to destroy their homeland in game to spite them.

Morrowind > Daggerfall > Skyrim > Oblivion > Battlespire > Arena.

I never played adventure redguard.

Daggerfall=Obliv=Morrowind depending on what you want out of it.
Personally:
Daggerfall>Obliv>Morrowind
Because I like dungeon crawling and just grinding through fun dungeons.

Daggerfall is objectively the best of the three having fun dungeon crawling along with compelling world building and an elaborate story.
Morrowind is a polished focus on World buidling and elaborate stories
Obliv is a polished take on dungeon crawling returning to a lot of old DF mechanics and approaches to exploring.
DF can be seen as worse only due to bugs (fixed in DFU) and looking old (semi fixed in DFU)

you're wrong about eso. it's great. it has kino pvp

>todd worship
>Daggerfall hate
>skyrim worship
Imagine a world that lets these people live and walk among us. Horrifying

You do realize we have won correct?

Normalfags? You've taken ground but that's all. No one respects you. You're just paypigs so companies hunt for your wallet like the whales you've proven to be.

Morrowind > Oblivion > Skyrim > Daggerfall > Arena

I hate faggots that feel the need to pretend Daggerfall is some masterpiece just for anonymous Zig Forums gamer cred. Hell, I bet half the people that praise Daggerfall haven't even played it. The game is repetitive dogshit.

On every level from programming to content Daggerfall is a bad game.
The only redeeming feature was the books.

Morrowind>(modded) Daggerfall>Oblivion>Skyrim>Arena

Anyone who disagrees is a stupid monkey fucker

>vanilla
Morrowind > Oblivion > Skyrim
>Modded
Oblivion > Morrowind > Skyrim

>excellent dungeon crawling
>elaborate dungeons
>ambitious life sim elements
It's easily the best and Syrim is far more repetative
>walk into instance
>dungeon/cave/house
>AH THE CHOSEN ONE WE'VE BEEN WAITING
>YOU MUST KILL THIS THING FOR US
>move through linear dungeon with some levers for retards to feel good about
>kill basic creature with no danger
>come back
>HERE IS THE HOLY WEAPON OF WORLD ENDING
>sword of endings is level scaled and unusuable in two levels
BRILLIANT dynamic game there friend.

Skyrim took three steps back in quest and faction writing lol

morrowind but it was a total fluke because most of the fun was breaking the magic systems

Books and deadric summoning days was super neat. There is so much fucking SOUL in Daggerfall that even Morrowind falls short.

morrowind >>>>> everything

Why would we expect respect for enjoying something?
Do you respect baseball fans?
Hockey fans?

Too each his own.
I am just glad they make games I like.

How can one man be so wrong?

Morrowind > Daggerfall > (power gap) > Skyrim > Oblivion > (larger gap) > Arena

It didn't revert to Morrowinds MMO tier quests.
Well maybe tbe radient quests were Morrowind tier.
They actually put in effort in the faction quest but fell short of Oblivion.

morrowind > daggerfall > arena > the rest

He doesn't suffer from nostalgia or hipsterism.

>Morrowind
>MMO tier quests
Nigga stop baiting, you're not clever

>There is so much fucking SOUL in Daggerfall
What

So it's a failure in every way then?
>sub-par filler quests
>sub-par dungeons
>sub-par faction quests
>sub-par fight mechanics
>sub-par loot mechanics
>worst world building in the entire series
>worst main plot in the entire series
I'm thinking it's dogshit
Anything Skyrim attempts something else in the series has done better - and not just a little better, far better.

Anyone who rates Skyrim higher than Oblivion just has no taste in RPGs.

Online is better than Skyrim.

>didn't even had
Why do ESLs always have the worst opinions too?

I fucking wish MMOs had quests like Morrowind. We'd have less retards in the genre shitting everything up.

OG wow represent

Morrowind on Skyrim is going to top them all

Nice projecting

From best to worst:
>Morrowind
>Daggerfall
>Skyrim
>Oblivion
>Arena
Online doesn't really count, Arena was and is complete garbage and Oblivion is vastly overrated by zoomers because it's Baby's First RPG

I played Skyrim the most, and spent the most time making mods for it, so I must've liked it the most.
Although that isn't how I feel, it is what the numbers show.
Using the same logic, second would be Oblivion, third would be Morrowind, fourth would be Daggerfall. I only tried, and didn't play more than a few hours of, Online and Arena.

>obliv is over rated
>better mechanics than skyrim
>better quests than skyrim
Name one thing about skyrim that's better than obliv other than graphics.

If you spend more time working than having fun, that doesn't mean you prefer to work, dum dum.

but he didn't

Mechanics are worse IMO because they're half-way between what we had in older games and Skyrim, and majority of the game feels bland as all fuck. Skyrim had some very nice moments even if it's a very average installment, it also pulled me in more often due to way more interesting locations
Plus I will never forgive Oblivion the most annoying mechanic ever of having to close the oblivion gates, fuck that was more annoying than the dragon attacks

This doesn't work when you remember that some short games are better than long ones.
I've enjoyed Hotline Miami more than games that have taken far longer to complete.

>excellent dungeon crawling
aren't they randomly generated

>UU knockoff 3
>randomized nonsensical dungeons
>randomized nonsensical quests
>P R O C E D U R A L empty open world
>"here's your game by algorithm, bro"
>+++++++++++++++
I said it in 96 and I'll say it again:
Pass.

Skyrim = Oblivion > Morrowind > dog shit > Daggerfall

Never played arena

Attached: coomer.png (1545x869, 193.01K)

I will never forgive oblivion for disregarding what could be one of the most unique settings in fantasy fiction and instead replacing it with a standard Tolkien setting.

>just don't enter the city until you want to play the main story line
There solved all your problems with Oblivion. Move it up the ranks.

>mechanics are worse
>spell craft
>dedicated spell button
>useful spells
>CLASSES
Skyrim is gutted outshit for people who like the 'a' more than they like the 'rpg'. Your opinion is worthless to the majority of people in this thread having revealed yourself like that.
As for locations: I don't understand. Skyrim locales were dull as all fuck other than perhaps the city in the side of the hill. At least oblivion was quaint and knew what its players wanted so the country side was dotted with loads of dungeons to crawl without this bullshit chosen one shit in every single one. It was a much better experience especially if you RP while playing your RPG.

Most are. Story line ones aren't.
The majority are comprised of blocks of interesting dungeon pieces called blocks and they're pieced together into new dungeons. They're sprawling and you can actually get lost in them. It adds to the allure and appeal for me. Much better than going up the hall and then back the the enterance in Skyrim.
