i don't know what to do, my equipment sucks and i fucked up my stats because i was retarded im wearing lighting spear +5 and uchigatana+10 and got paiting guardian sword +10 because i thought it will be better than uchigatana due to more DEX scaling but it does little dmg and it's range sucks but worse thing is armor, i dont know what to wear i don't have enough strenght to wear Havel's shield so i thought about buying Giant set and leveling my STR to 36 to wear Giant Shield but i dont like how slow you are in these armors and that fucking stamina debuff doesn't help so for the time being i wear Silver Knight set but im not sure if i should upgrade it also i don't know if i should level up DEX or what.. i do so little dmg with my weapons, i thought katanas were cool but now im not sure what should i do
i have just beaten Smough and Ornstein and managed to retrieve firekeeper soul from Firelink Shrine and put Lordvessel so i can collect 4 souls now but i don't know if i will be able to beat any of these bossess because i was fighting Smough and Ornstein for 2 days...
If you can beat smash bros you can eat the rest of the game.

oh also, keeping your equip burden below 25% of your max gives you the best dodge roll possible; it depends on your playstyle but that is generally more advantageous than tanking everything in heavy armor. 50% is another threshold.

It's common to get stuck with Lightning Spear as your best weapon, on a new playthrough. I think that's what it's there for, to give new players a leg up if their build hasn't come together. It's not great, but it will allow you to beat O&S.
You could try farming some black knights to get their weapons. The halbered takes 26 strength if I remember correctly, so it's within reach and you could equip it if two-handing. You get that off the black knight in the forest, almost right next to a bonfire.

I was also stuck on O&S for a bit but then started focusing on a single stat instead of spreading them even (strength in my case) and found myself doing much more damage. >Fuck Capra Demon. Didn't even fight this thing on my first playthrough. Just advanced through the Undead Parish without going back with the key and just went through Darkroot garden/basin. Also made me miss out on the great ember and I could never upgrade stuff past +5.

Your stats seem more geared for Quality weapons rather than dex. "Quality" was an upgrade path in demon Souls and refers to C/C/ scaling.
Claymore sounds more like your stats and is the poster child for Quality weapons. Longsword is boring but got me through the game too. Warpick, Flamberge, etc are other options.

Are you upgrding your armor? That makes a big difference in terms of how much damage you take take.
Elite Armor + Divine Claymore is the most boring but tried and true build ever. Might be a bit too late for divine upgrade path too.
