I want a traditional JRPG set in the Mogeko castle world. Call it Mogeko Kingdom, and is about two girls, one was captured by the mogekos and sent to the castle, while the other managed to escape to the main land, she now have to explore the realm of mogekos, recruiting partners and becoming stronger with the objective of unsealing the Moge-guffins to break the castle's magic barrier / obtain a power able to defeat Moge-ko and save her friend or what's left of her.

Man, I agree Wada was flawed such as literally 1/2 of the cast being absolutely useless filler, but for me it was the most memorable out of all the three games, even if it may have been the most flawed.

Gray garden was pretty good too, I have nothing against Mogeko castle, I think all the DSP games are good but as it stands:

Wadanohara > Gray Garden > Mogeko Castle

Honestly she's probably focused on doing commissions then a new game, she charges about 100 dollars per drawing and I'd imagine she gets a lot of requests.

Why are Japanese indie games so shit compared to western ones?

personally I didn't care about combat systems or whatever, it's no masterpiece but at least you don't need to grind.
What puts Mogeko above the other two for me is the surreal, ambiguous nature of the endings.

I think if anything Mogeko was the one trying too hard, it's main focus is the psychological/shock value, which isn't a bad thing, whereas the focus of Wada and Gray Garden is the dialogue. I literally didn't even remember any form of dialogue or the ending for that matter for Mogeko until you brought it up, even then it's extremely hazy. However I still very clearly remember dialogue from Wadanohara or the Gray Garden.

I think at the end of the day it all comes down to what you value more, Gray Garden and Wadanohara gives way more value in terms of dialogue and story, but I won't deny that mogeko can be a lot more compelling in terms of psychological horror and whatnot.

You're obviously biased towards the other 2 games because they resemble your typical friendship shit way more, but in reality, mogeko is the one who brings an original experience and doesn't rely on shitty concepts to keep you hooked.
