Nice of them to bring in levels that used to be version exclusive when they debuted, I guess.

"Hey hey ho ho the use of wool has got to go"
I still remember. I also miss playing firefight. Shit was fun

>no more loading times between cities

Load of crap. It took until Project 8 to get that right and P8 was burdened with tons of slowdown caused by dynamic loading as a result (even when loaded from a goddamn USB flash drive).

building your own skatepark by stealing shit around the maps was cool

>no more loading times between cities
user those long tunnels separating every area were the "loading screens".

EVERYONE IS SOMEONE

IN LAAAAAAAAAA

CALIFORNIA UBER ALLES

wait why would you load from usb drive?

just play thug pro bro

I was trying to find some way to offset the constant chugging the game was doing every time it had to load something so I moved it from my 360's external HDD to the internal to finally a flash drive to see if it would stop doing that but it never did.

FUCK OUT THE WAY

Project 8 was better

exactly, thats the point. they made you able to skate and do tricks instead of staring at a bar go across the screen. the first tony hawk game to do that

People wanted an open world, though, not a bunch of typical THPS levels separated by tunnels. The expectation was not met.

always loved this song when i played THAW, too bad i cant understand a damn word hes saying

hmm okay.

it was open world as in you had multiple cities to free roam and travel to and from so yeah i think it accomplished open world bud

The objects that you use to build your park was more fun in their original locations

agreed. some of the park upgrades were really dumb and pointless but the electric pyramid honestly is pretty cool. the sound it made when you grinded it is very nostalgic

i often think about the mattress on the hill at the skate ranch and how i wish in some universe i could live there and be homeless at that skate ranch sounds super kino

it was good

yea but hardware compromises ofc

The built park was an insane disappointment desu

Great music. I actually listen to this and the RIDE soundtrack outside of the games.

The player models looked like ass though. Especially the pro skaters.

it had Institutionalized, even if it was a cover version

Is there a greater vidya villain than Eric Sparrow?

Literally the most based tony hawk game. Had the best missions, the best maps to skate on, and the skate ranch was fuckin awesome to build as you went through the story

Tony Hawk's American Wasteland

no there is not in fact

>>looks like that things being held together with duct tape. come on lets go skate!
fuck you eric

Levels were boring, the story felt forced, unlocking abilities with game progression sucks

no game has an intro half as iconic as this shit. this is actual kino

STOP THE WOOLY BULLY

>what went right
Nothing, which is why it's shit. THUG2 and THPS4 are the only good Tony Hawk games. Honorable mention to 2 as well.

Agreed. the HD remake of proskater is the best one.
