Alright lads, with Paper Mario confirmed looks like Mario All Stars 2 is on the cards.
Question is, do they think they will change much of how they control? Would 64 be too easy if it controlled like Odyssey? Same goes for Sunshine, do you think controls will be 1-1 with the orginals? What about camera controls?
I don't think Galaxy will change much, i feel dual joycons is perfect for it.
Do you want the Super Mario 64 DS content as well?
>Same goes for Sunshine, do you think controls will be 1-1 with the orginals?
Impossible. Fludd was controlled with analog triggers.
Jackson Torres
They can use R for half press and ZR for full press
Caleb James
No mario game will ever be good again. The soul of the company is lost, thus, the games will also lack soul and will feel lackluster and mediocre.
Lincoln Wright
Shit totally forgot about that, guess they will have to do something like Odyssey is the best 3D Mario
Jackson Garcia
no europoor, just no
Joshua Gomez
This is gonna sound retarded but Odyssey’s controls let you do way too much way too easily. They allow you to skip entire sections of levels with little to no effort once you understand how to do the hat dive combo. I’m not saying that they should lock off that freedom entirely but I feel like it should be harder and require more creativity to pull off stuff like that rather than just spamming the hat dive combo to clear every obstacle in the game.
Carson Roberts
All Stars 2 would not have hat dive, but I reckon they will remove stuff like acutally having to kick to wall jump in 64 etc
Brody Russell
>Mario All Stars 2 At least call it Super Mario All-stars 3D
Camden Gonzalez
Odyssey is better than any Galaxy and 3D World.
Lincoln Clark
There are rumors of a new Paper Mario every week and the Allstars 2 rumor claimed PM was a return to form which this one isnt.
Ian Lewis
odyssey has the highest skill ceiling of any 3d mario though
>Do you want the Super Mario 64 DS content as well? yes, it was unironically the best version and all it was missing was analog movement (and camera for that matter)
Are you faggots really stupid enough to believe Nintendo would sell four different 3D Mario games for $60? You know that New Super Mario Bros U Deluxe BY ITSELF is $60 right?
I swear you stupid fucks know nothing about the company you worship.
Cameron Perry
Still disappointed that they never added anything else besides Balloon World and costumes. I kept waiting for some new levels and maybe a multiplayer race mode via the Koopas, but it never came.
Christian Wright
One of the things I'm mostly excited about is the 3D World port and if it has any new content, like a playable Wario or perhaps even Waluigi
Jaxon Rogers
You'll get Toadette who can be 3D Peachette, enjoy
Alexander Nelson
What's the use of 3D Peachette if I can already play as Peach
Xavier Smith
These games are not happening. Why does everyone think this has been confirmed???
>all it was missing was analog movement Which it had if you used the touch screen control scheme which was very serviceable and even more precise than a thumbstick.
Ryder Carter
Nintendo fanboys are just about the dumbest fuckers on the planet.
Jayden Thomas
>do you think controls will be 1-1 with the orginals?
They fucking better be
>Do you want the Super Mario 64 DS content as well?
Nintendo is known for doing good things too just not in the Switch era so far
Angel Martin
using touchscreen to move in a platformer is clunky isn't it
Ethan Jackson
Why would Nintendo ever be this charitable with its games when they still sell all main Nintendo franchise games at full price even years later?
Gavin Watson
Because it's Mario's 35th birthday :)
Jackson Cooper
I now know how badly I want this no you are shit
Ryder Lopez
>be 1-1 with the orginals? of course, they're not putting in any work for this. corona stress is the perfect excuse too.
Owen Long
Is 3D World in stereoscopic 3D?
Noah Cook
It was over a dozen years ago but I remember getting comfortable to it. The d-pad isn't precise enough for more complex maneuvers. But some maneuvers like the side. Even with a circle pad added to the 3DS, you can't control the sensitivity of your movements as well as the touch screen controls. But 90% of the time you're running at full speed anyway so the touch input isn't strictly necessary to play.
