Great taste with Ghost Trick but I'm not the biggest fan of SMW or the 2D mario games in general, prefer pretty much any other platformer to them. Haven't played downwell or Rez.

Already tried hollow knight, thought it was just okay. Not a fan of metroidvanias very much, plus I think something like Super Metroid is better. As for the rest of yours, I've only played Platinum, HK, and Three Houses, and while you have great taste with Platinum, I think there's certainly better FE games than Three Houses.

In terms of pure gameplay, yeah, Three Houses is pretty average. I just like the more involved story and social interactions of it.
All axcellent aside from Civ 4, haven't played Custom Robo. Your tastes are too varied for a solid recommendation. I have played Ninja Gaiden Black, enjoyed it a lot.

I'm just not a big fan of Civ. I used to really enjoy playing 3 and 4 as a kid, but I just can't get into them now. It's not bad, but it's not great. Solid indifference from me.

Because rondobabs think their game is better just because it was only in Japan for a long time. The level design in Rondo is pure ass, but the bosses are good at least.
