I hate it too. I once got stuck in a boot loop because I turned my PC off to move the power strip and I guess it started doing shit in between then and when I had turned it off. Fucking infuriating December.

I learned how to use Linux in college so I could just use that but I prefer windows

You can also just assign it to update using a non-existent account. As long as the user account exists, literally just put a dot before the name and it can't do a thing.

One time a windows update just straight up broke my Bluetooth connectivity, leaving me without a keyboard. Ever since then, I have disabled all windows updates and for the most part don’t even let the OS connect to the internet. Kind of sucks that game devs are making games exclusively for this pajeet tier OS.

For some bizarre reason my Win10 refuses to see any updates whenever I've got a deferral set up.
I tell it to defer updates for a week so plebs can beta test it, but it just never sees the updates even weeks later.
I have to set defer back to 0 before I can update.
Maybe it's because I've got Pro and not Home which seems to be the target for all of the MS fuckery.
It's great though.
