Zoomer Nostalgia

What games did people born from 1995-2002 grow up with?
I grew up on Ocarina of Time, Melee, Pokémon Gens 1-3, and old-school Sonic. These games influenced my belief that atmosphere is one of the most important parts of a video game.

Yeah, no. That would've been around the time of flatscreen crt prevalence at best.

Plasma screen TVs already existed in the early 2000s.

Ps2 and then got a xbox360 in 2008 because of the dragon ball z burst limit commercials

I think this is a starter pack most early gen z can relate to

I only had my cousin's hand-me-downs. Didn't have a PS1 until the PS2 came out. The 360 was the first console I ever bought with my own money. Parents thought games were "satanic" but would let me play as long as I bought my own games.

Nostalgia for metal gear, ape escape, halo, gears and silent hill are strong.

sly cooper, battle for bikini bottom, dragon ball tenkaichi and budokai, vice city and Andrea's, portal, halo 3

I'm only slightly older than that (1993) and I'd have sooner lit myself on fire than plastered shit all over my bedroom wall like that when I was a teen.

One of the big red flags when I went to a new friend's house was there being posters and messy shit all over his room. Those kids were always the kind to rage at losing vidya and yell at their parents.

that's like most retards who are gamers on youtube though. I don't get it either.

I grew up on 3DS Pokémon gen 5, because my parents only allowed vidya in middle school.
Before that I sneakily played Swords and Sandals and a ton of browser tower defense games.

baka

Born 1995, played pc stuff like freddi fish before I got a ps2 when I was 9, jak and daxter, ratchet and clank, simpsons road rage/hit&run, spider-man 2, GT3, GTA San Andreas, Need for Speed: Underground, Burnout 3: Takedown, lego star wars 2. I got a PSP/DS in 2008 and got really into Pokemon and emulators for Nintendo, I didn't have a 360/PS3 because too poor during that period, most of my teens was Nintendo emulated games and pirated psp/ds games, finally got a PS3 in 2013 for GTA V and the shit I had missed, plus I had a pc powerful enough for gen 7 games in 2012.

Based.

i dont think i got my first lcd TV until 2006 for dead rising and i couldnt have come from a more typical middle class house. Its possible someone had one during 6th gen but i really don't think itd be common enough to include in a nostalgia picture

on what?

My baby brother is a zoomer and all he plays is CS:GO and watch Fortnite streams

I have nostalgia for the string of not so bad sonic games that appeared on the Wii and DS with Crush 40 music

The real nostalgia is for having friends, for whom you loved to share your video games amongst other hobbies with.

Your 25 year old brother watches Fortnite streams? Was he arrested in development?

The next generation is called generation Alpha

lego games on the wii and ds

2006? rich boy

thats already a year into 7th gen. It was a small cheap thing anyway
