What baffles me how certain secrets are triggered after interacting with some objects in a specific order.
Like the nochness monster secret in Hitman Absolution where you have to interact with random objects in order or some shit until it appears for few seconds.
or the secrets in CODWW2 zombies mode where you need to break all lamps for a door to open.
How do people find these is beyond me

The invisible hollow enemies in DS2. They are non hostile and are in out of the way areas, it took me many years to figure out they existed.

I want to make a game with an obscure thing you can figure out how to stick data into (items, maybe) and it has effects that speedrunners will think are memory manipulation, resulting in wrong warps and shit, but really it's all deliberately scripted in such a way as to not be useful to them and to make no fucking sense whatsoever.

This is why I mostly prefer to play DRM-free releases. I loved Ape Out, but I don't like to have unlocked achievements.
