The impact this lone game had on not just the world of gaming, but the world as a whole is unfathomably remarkable. You see the Snyder Cut of the Justice League now coming out thanks to fan demand? That would not be possible if not for the earlier precedence and tactics set and employed by the Xenoblade fans to bring this game over to Western shores with Operation Rainfall.
Is it the most important game of the last decade? Going by its impact that is still producing industry altering waves to this very day, it very well must be.

not for me, amazon has this shit expecting june 2
Does this apply to all Amazon preorders? I've heard some people's shipments delayed for a full month.
don't know
Same.
I think I saw in another thread an user's copy got delayed til the 6th.
Damn. I was thinking about changing retailers to avoid delays, but considering I also heard some people still not even getting a date for their delivery I might just hold onto my Amazon preorder just in case.
Fuck bros I can't wait. What am I meant to do for a week?
I tried starting NG+ of XC2 to get me in the Xeno Kino zone but it's so inferior to the original and outright bad in places that it's ruining my hype.
>amazon takes your money before the order is shipped out
I hope Amazon never takes over in my country, the place I order form only charges you once the order has been shipped, so I can cancel at no cost right up until then, and I have done so in the past when they delayed my shit.
>>amazon takes your money before the order is shipped out
They only charges once it ships. What country are you from?
what happened to the leaker?
He went too far, the old fool...
oh god i just checked my pre order i made last week and just saw it now i even took time off of work just to play it next week. FUCK!
I cant wait. I'm getting digital so 9pm pst release.
I ain't letting gameshart or sjwazon ruin my order.
I'll have to wait till the following Monday cause I managed to preorder the special edition in a chain of supermarkets, but I will be getting the artbook, so it's fine.
Why didn't Melia ever want to bang Dunban? The guy is a total hunk.
wait what do you mean it brought nintendo of america to its knees and made reggie retire? what happened exactly?
They should give shares to everybody that ever bought Xenoblade games, cause we single-handedly turned the franchise into a success. Tell that to anybody that says voting with your wallet doesn't work.
just shitposting
delusion
Not really. Xenoblade would never have gotten this far without the petition to bring it to the west.
fans/autists signed a big petition to try and force nintendo into localising xenoblade along with 2 other jrpgs that were doomed to obscurity
Same, i was so bored of it. I appreciate the level down ability, though.
I started playing Skyrim again to get me into the early 2010s vibes again
What nopon?
He shamed and humiliated her precious Onee chan, and after that, she didn't give a damn about him.
She's a shotacon.
Anyone living in London here? Seems like Amazon decided to Fuck Me in the ass. My order is delayed until further notice.
Imagine if Nintendo let Retro Studios have as many studios as Monolith Soft
All these horror stories of delayed shipments is making me glad I ordered digital.
I'll take it up the ass from resellers for the special edition after/if Corona chan ever blows over.
That's why I order from shopto. They rarely ever delay games for me and 99% of the time you get the game 1 - 2 days early.
>not ordering from GAME
times like this you want to order from game specialist stores since places like amazon will be overworked dealing with toilet paper and shit
Never played any Xeno and only know Shulk via smash. Am I good starting with this ?
>but it's so inferior to the original
Really? I've also felt like going back and doing NG+ and the challenge mode recently, after being reminded of how much depth there was to party setup and combat mechanics I never mastered back in the day. Then I've tried to think back to what 1 has, and it makes me kind of afraid it won't hold up in comparison anymore.
>No multiple specials (1 vs 12, excluding Monado)
>Fewer arts (8 vs 9)
>No special combos, therefore no fusion combos either
>No multiple weapon types usable across all party members, only one per character
>No individual skill trees and unique combinations of passive abilities not just per weapon type, but every weapon.
>Chain attack loops are half RNG whether you get to continue, no orbs that require setup but let you know exactly what you got and what to do.
I played 1 back in Euro launch so I'm bound to forget details of what it had that I liked that 2 doesn't, but currently the one thing I can recall is party affinity allowing borrowing skill tree skills. Don't get me wrong though I'm still looking forward to replaying it.
Yes, definitely
Personally I hate 2's combat system and think only brainlets find it complex/deep. Mostly you're just accumulating elemental orbs using charts that the game displays on screen for you until you can pop a chain attack to finish the enemy. I like how each character in 1 plays uniquely whereas in 2 everyone can have any blade (other than Tora) so there's no uniqueness besides the driver affinity charts which basically just determine basic att/heal/tank roles.
It's a remake of the first game, so absolutely.
Thanks faggot.
i'll try ordering from shopto.
London is probably the biggest shithole in Europe. I can't wait to get out if here.
