playing by yourself is nearly impossible unless you enjoy spending hours just building up the resources to build the most basic shit
on top of that you have almost no chance of fighting any of the tougher monsters because they have about 300 billion HP

also breaking thralls takes literally hours unless you fuck with the settings and at that point you're basically cheating so there's even less point to anything
the actual landscape is interesting but that's about it for exploring, there's a NPC "city" in the west where nothing happens and some faction hideouts full of bandits that just brainlessly attack you like lemmings

Can be turned into a half decent coomgame if you're too stupid for more complex coom games like modded Skyrim. The build is geniunely nice, can make some good shit. Everything else is basically shit, and they delivered on less promises than your average politician. No magic, no mounts, etc...

Earl y access game promising magic, mounts, more armours and areas.

Bought it,being a large fan of Age of Conan.

Played for a bit "this is cool, but with more content it would be amazing. I'll come back in a year or two".

Now a year or two later all the cool promised content is behind individual £10 pay walls.

I had a lot of fun just exploring the map and building shit with a friend, either on a nearly deserted server or even just co-op mode. If you tweak the ratios a bit the grind becomes bearable, but you do need some tolerance towards clicking on rocks and trees for long periods of time, that's inherent to the genre.
The building is really fun though and the map is well designed. Anywhere I go I think "that would be a cool place for a base" and you can do lots of shit from small huts to giant palaces, tree houses or whatever.

Also the character models are hot and there are plenty erotic mods if you're into that shit.
