bump

with VR

Steamlink streamed to a tablet
Tablet suspended over pillow with one of those arm things
Steam controller acts as M/kb or you can just use wireless m/kb

no game streaming or consoles, i mean playing the games ON the machine, i currently have a desktop hooked up to a TV sitting on a dresser near my bed, i just wanna know a good solution to using keyboard and mouse in bed.

I believe they're all sold out at this point though.

i want one of these so bad, they're all like 80 dollars on ebay now, so i just use an xbox 360 controller. What you posted is idea though.

i also need to be able to browse the internet with this setup, not just gaeming. And thanks for the suggestions so far!

use one of these instead of a kbm, and use an xbox controller, thats what i do

I was gonna post this. they're cheap and not very well made, but get the job done.

Get a good wireless mouse and keyboard maybe? You could probably get some kind of stand to sit them on. I personally use an Xbone controller wirelessly when I play games on my PC in bed and just avoid playing games I would want to use KB&M for.

but what kind of stand? and what keyboard? using the mouse on the sheets inst an issue since i use a trackball mouse, so i dont need a surface.
i hate the texture on the trackpad though, makes me feel weird for some reason, keyboard and ergonomics are really good though.

Get one of those "gaming lapdesks" or whatever they're called if you want to use actual mouse/keyboard controls, I guess. I would not think that this is actually ergonomic or comfortable for any significant length of time, though. A Steam Controller would probably be the best alternative.

sounds interesting, can you post a pic?
i looked that up and a ton of different shit came up.

Just imagine accidentally bumping the table leg and getting a heavy ass crt to the face

hes on the floor, not in bed!

The best solution is UMPCs. I think in the future we are gonna see this market start to pop up more, given the success of the Switch. If you want one now NOW, your most realistic solution is a either a GPD win max or a GPD win 2. But there are other coming such as the Smach Z and the UFO Alienware.

i lie in bed with my laptop next to me and i rest a large book on myself to use as a mousepad

My set up is a large tv on a table next to the head of my bed, lets me sit up and play seriously or watch tv as i fall asleep. have the keyboard on my lap and use a glass breadboard inside a pillow slip as a large mouse pad, the pc sits below the tv under the desk, have all the cables tied up to the support beams under my bed

get something like the lapdog from corsair. friend bought one, actually quite comfy m+kb couch gaming

isn't the smach z vaporware?
pretty much what i do minus the mousepad
also my tv is 24 inches, and i sit about 4 feet away from it, so reading small text is kinda annoying.

pics?

nah lad im too ashamed
dont want anyone to see how i live

that setup sounds pretty cool though

based, deskfags seething

Mod your chair into one of those hospital beds with reclining backrest and adjust the height of your desk+leg distance+put it on wheels so you can slide it in while you are on your chair-bed.

i use wireles keyboard on lap, and mouse beside me, i lie down and play and browse.

i dont own a desk.

you sound based

So I assume then you don't have a desktop computer. If it is just a laptop use that lapdesks thinguie anons suggested
