How do you even fucking play this game?
How do you even fucking play this game?
Uninstall wizard into Civ IV is the only sensible strategy.
You need to uninstal and play 5 instead then play a real game like HoMM3
Practice.
click the thing in the bottom right and do whatever it tells you to make it go away until it becomes an arrow and then repeat
uninstall it and play endless legend instead
You get the expansions.
Vanilla is bare bones.
Uninstall and get Stellaris instead, it's the superior 4X.
You play a thinking man's game like Total War instead.
first, you need a power-up, then press down twice so metroid can crawl
pretty generous calling civ6 a 4x.
Uninstall and DBAN the chink off your drive.
So many mods for CIv4 are lost like tears in the rain.
Its so sad, but its still the best(modern) civ game ever made. My personal favorite is still Civ 2 test of time.
>get a mod to see further around your start area
>restart a bunch of times until you have a ton of production and food around your first city
>????
>profit
Uninstall and install civ 4 the white man game
Wake me up when they revamp hive mind so it actually feels unique. Also, where are my fucking organic ships/buildings?
I really wish Stellaris was good past the exploration phase
>How do you even fucking play this game?
You don't. You play the superior version instead.
Holy based
old man
civ 4 is the superior version its a written fact
This game is the definition of wide as an ocean, deep as a puddle
Have you tried devouring swarm? I thought it was fun as fuck and has both of the things you want
Play it like previous entries, the cards (culture and technology) could be saved for later
When was this implemented? The last time I played DS played like everyone else but with some buffed numbers and no diplomacy. Granted, It's been about a year since I've touched the game.
Choose a victory and build towrds that and only that.So if you want to win science build campuses, aquaducts and entertainment. Later on build workshops for spaceship parts. If you're low on cash plant a city on the coast, by a river and place a harbor and market district in a triangle and place a spy there. Alternatively play Endless Legend.
Even the exploration feels shallow and without sense of wonder. Traveling between systems is like going to the neighbor next door. At least the events are fun.
Are either Endless Legend or Stellaris actually good? Or is it just memes?
Broken Lords mod in Civ V is fun.
They're both good in their own way.
Combat sucks in EL and Stellaris's endgame is a slog, but they're both worth trying.
How do you play THIS game? Everything is unintuitive a fuck and the tutorial doesn't tell you shit like how to move units between garrison and armies.
You bruteforce through it, you'll learn eventually, we all did
Uninstall.
Then install one of the following Civ, Civ II, Civ III, Civ IV or Civ V
start with the base game without DLCs
Play wide.
Set districts down early, you don't have to fully build them just set them down and switch production to something else until you're ready to actually build them because district production cost rises as you go up the tech tree.
Campuses, commercial hubs, and industrial zones are all hugely important districts.
Many buildings are now only buildable in districts so don't ignore them.
Warmonger penalties are less severe than V when it comes to city states, so feel free to bully or capture them if you don't care about the bonuses.
Look around the diplomacy screen and see all the shit you can do, you get visibility from things that lets you see what they're up to and grievances that can be spent to declare wars and do things without pissing off other AI.
The tutorial is shit but the civililopedia is really good, just search up anything you might not understand like loyalty or envoys and the game has good explanations. Tutorial sucks so you'll have to learn the hard way by playing a few games.
Don't even bother if you're playing vanilla.
Whats the best mod to make Civ 6 like Civ 5? Also, is there any mods to fix the tech and production pacing? Or the fact that districts limit your build options and take up tile spaces?
Even Civilization Revolution is a more enjoyable game than 6 and it's pretty barebones. It's honestly a top notch console civ, if only you could customize game speed and have a force end turn, it would be an even better game.
None
Doesn't exist
Fuck Civ VI
