Jesus Christ, the uniting the houses/tribes part of the MC is such a fucking energy drain. This is also coming from someone who is level 37 at this point. I'm getting burnt out.

Just finished the old ebonheart thieves guild quests today and it was 10/10. Felt like a thief simulator in a massive city. Attended noble parties in disguise, saved some buddys from caved in dwemer ruins, blackmailed a duchess. I was leagues better than anything in the base game and had a solid narrative that all the quests tied into. I'd check it out and just roll a character that stays on the mainland.

If you are really getting burned out just coc to the locations to speed past all the travel. You're not missing anything by doing so.

I know I'm not, I think part of the problem is, is that I'm basically a demi-god at this point too. I jumped the ghost gate at maybe level 25, merc'd Dagoth's first form, and then realized I can't just beat the game. I didn't realize how fucking extensive the MQ line was.

i know we all like to shit on skyrim, but skyrim's gameplay is objectively better than morrowind's. i don't even just mean the combat, there are so many little things when traversing/interacting with the world that are just bad in morrowind. the game is solely carried by its absolute 10/10 atmosphere and world

i've opened pandora's box, i can't go back to being weak now, but the game isn't the same knowing nothing is a threat

I actually may have enjoyed Morrowind on Xbox more than on PC. GOTY edition has both expansions. you can't break the game with mods and bullshit.

i get what that they're going for more of a dnd type thing where attacks are based on character skill and not player skill, but for me personally, it is less satisfying than skyrim combat. which is shit, but still better than morrowind.

also just moving around the world in morrowind is shit. so many terrible platforming sections in dungeons where it's a struggle to just get on top of a rock stairway or get up a slope to get out of the water. there is no way they intended you to just levitate the entire dungeon for every dungeon. and then there is dumb shit like npcs walking straight in the middle of hallways in vivec so you basically have to glitch through them to get by. just so many dumb little things

and without mods
