Depends on what you're aiming at. I was a DCfag back in the day but GC had splitscreen so I played a ton with my friends. Xbox version required Live so if you don't have an old tag on that it won't even let you play offline IIRC. Not sure how custom servers are on DC (or even GC) but if you're just looking for solo online there's PSOBB on PC with servers.

Download the files to run your own "server" and play what is essentially offline on the PC. It's the best option if you're a PC-only fag. I have PSO Episodes I & II Plus shrinkwrapped still in my safe with my deed, PhD, and social security card.

ephiniea is slow with a normal 1x rate of exp and has generally as many players as ultima. Ultima also has custom quests and has removed the combo lock on weapons such as the Dark Flow, along with other custom weapons.

yep its broken bull shit that makes character balance issues come up more and so on. PSO wasn't a balanced game character wise (Fomar is best FO though) but that broken gear doesn't help much.

Idk user why didn't androids get force class choices? The starting classes were Humar, Hunewearl, Hucast, Ramar, Racast, Racaseal, Fomarl, Fonewn, and Fonewearl. Hucaseal, Ramarl, and Fomar came later.
Really PSZ has hunewn if you want that at least. Though sadly PSZ is meh compared to PSO

I really only played Universe while I was a teenager with my sister, does anyone here have any opinions on 2? She wants to get back into it with the release coming up.

A lot of the fun of PSO1 and Universe aren't there in 2, you can't really just go to areas and grind enemies because outside of emergency quests, EXP and item drop rates are garbage so people just stand around in the lobbies and wait

Boy the game lagged HARD whe you played 4-player splitscreen. Thanks to my parents that decided 3 sons was enough, so we were the perfect number to play it offline.

Them having the best mst doesn't even matter as well. Fomar is better at gi techs and grants. Fonewn is better at gi and ra techs because of their character tech damage bonus.
Fomar ends up being the game's best overall single player class as well.

FOmar and FOnewm are tied for solo depending on the episode imo. FOmarl is the best force for co-op probably.

there are private servers being talked about in this topic user. One has 30 people on it right now. The other has 160. Think about which one has a higher chance of having fun with others because of that.
