I do really like Yusuke. I found him bland at first, but I find most of them bland at first, but he grew on me with his weirdness. Not to mention he's the only character with a crit cut in that looks like he's gonna murder whatever he's hitting.
I really like Ohya because she's doing her best to roll with her shit situation. Loyal to her friends to a fault, caring, and pretty chill. Her story is also really relevant to the main story.
Iwai is the best because he's doing his best to be a good dad for his kid and trying to leave his old life behind. Really good dude.
Shinjiro. He feels so bad about what he did, even though it was an accident, that he just fucks off. He makes real effort to redeem himself and Takaya doesn't even let him do that properly.

Probably the npcs in p3 who stalk each other. I liked following the journey of girl having a obsessed crush on the guy only to find out the guy is an asshole and pretty disgusting. While the guy thinks he's some sorta chad a cute girl is following him around but he never makes a move on her and when she finally moves on he becomes obsessed with her.
I remember running around the city every othee week looking for them to watch the next part of their story unfold.

I think the game is too hard on Mishima, but I don't really like him either. I like that his arc is about him learning to stand on his own, but holy fuck does he spend most of the game as a parasite. I want to like him, but I can't bring my self to care about him any more than characters like the Librarian.
