I used to play Roblox back in 2009. I had lots of fun blowing up shit and I remember the katana was like the holy grail of weapons

well i guess someone on Zig Forums can be my consultant i downloaded this and don't recognize any games on the front page so im guessing they're shit

It has a much better game engine but a shitton more monetization and most of the popular games are either furry shit or roleplay games. Sniper City isn't even around anymore

Never played roblox but it seems like it could be a fun timekiller, is it worth buying an xbox for?

There are some good games on the front page, just different from what Roblox used to be, Arsenal is a really good and original shooter, if you're into it anyway. Phantom Forces is well made but its a COD knock off (most roblox games are anyway) There are other games I can recommend if you're interested in specific genres

>Builders Club got sacked in favor of ROBLOX Premium which is a shittier version of BC with absolutely little to no features. ROBLOX's reasoning for canning Builders Clubs was because "People were confused and thought you needed BC to build games"
Before I continue I wanna let you know that the "Its too confusing for new players" bit is used quite a bit by ROBLOX for removing features
>Ability to color individual body parts (Same reason, it was "too confusing" for new players)
>Forums got removed
>Users now have the ability to upload items to the Catalog (Only if you're in the UGC though)
>Most classic games are broken due to new ROBLOX scripts and ROBLOX classics are absolutely overrun with Exploiters, Think SFOTH and Fencing
>>To add on to this, there's now a website that specifically specializes in selling ROBLOX exploits for games
>Hashtags, Can't even say anything now with the filter turning your text into Egyptian Hieroglyphics that need Archeologists to decipher
>Price Floor, Can't make anything 1 Robux anymore 5 is the limit
>>Also Tix got removed, Classic combat scripts got axed
>Everything is sponsored now, everything. Traditional ROBLOX events like Egg Hunt, Christmas Gifts and Halloween and Thanksgiving are either sponsored with shitty rewards or the events are run by Game Devs, its not even the ROBLOX team that makes these events anymore, 2015 was the last time they did that.
There's so much more but to be short, it's going down the shitter in favor of making things more kid-friendly and making everything as dumbed down as possible to use, similar to Pokemon

i played that game where you build a ship with like 10-20 other people in one big ass room and you have to maneuver it through the water with a bunch of rocks on it that damage the ship, it was some pretty advanced shit that has to be my favorite one, idk if thats a genre

I doubt anyone who got BC for life plays this game anymore

Premiums are divided by 3 tiers
Tier 1 - 450 Robux a month and the ability to trade (This replaced BC)
Tier 2 - 1000 Robux a month and the ability to trade (This replaced TBC)
Tier 3 - 2200 Robux a month and the ability to trade (This replaced OBC)
If you brought lifetime, say for OBC, (Since lifetime is 100 years) then you would get Tier 3 for 100 years

While I'm certain its not the game you're talking about it reminds me of Galleons, choose a ship between red team and blue team, round ends when one ship destroys the other

honestly, the game isnt as bad as yall are saying as long as you dont stick too close to the front of the "popular" category. theres a lot of good games out there

This game is old as fuck, I stopped playing it around early 2013. I remember back when Jaredvaldez4 was making everyone seethe from hell to kingdom come from stealing games. He was the Hitler of ROBLOX games and the most villified user at the time. Now that was hilarious
Looking at the site now, it looks absolutely different from what I remember. Where are Tix and the Dollars and why is there a little screw icon in place of them? Where are the forums?
