it was really fun. some arcade mode challenges were kinda tedious but on the whole it was great. the multiplayer was incredibly fun.
the missions were really varied, and the difficulty settings changed the objectives and other variables, that was great.

Mainly just older = better contrarianism. You could argue that the levels are more memorable in TS2 though, or that the campaign was better for having more level variety as opposed to TS3 where every setting gets 2 levels each and there's less time periods overall as a result. In my opinion, 3 is still the better game though if just because it refined the mechanics and plays better. It hasn't aged as badly as 2.

Better maps in 2 overall trumps the improved gameplay in 3 especially for virus with the bros. 2's arcade-y story is also more repayable than 3 imo. Love 3's siege mode though.
