Do you journal your vidya Zig Forums? Its pretty based and shows creativity. Plus you can look back on your adventures fondly. My favourite is Rpg journals. Im in the middle of doing one for persona 5.
Journaling your vidya
trap or trans?
What a good way to play
Sometimes I gotta bust out the good old pen and paper to take notes since I'm dog shit at remembering names, especially if it's a rpg with fantasy races and impossible to pronounce names.
what level of autism is this and how can i acquire it?
I don't journal my games persay, but for jrpgs with no adventure logs i'll keep track of mine and the story's progress so i can drop in whenever. also, in persona games and others that follow a similar calendar system i'll keep track of what i do each day in case of a particularly hard hitting game over to make getting back to the spot i was a bit easier.
A good way to do RPGs, I’ve been wanting to try it out but I’ve never gotten to doing it
Why does everyone that owns a journal in a video game also some kind of amazing artist
it's like in LA Noire where Cole could apparently instantly make a life like drawing of every single person he talked to with only a pen
Cool. If I could draw I'd defininitely be this level of autistic.
I dont see a problem with this. I used to write notes in the gaming manuals all the time.
Hah fuck off im a straight white male with a less than herculian jaw line. Societys worst nightmare
Being autistic is good. Shows passion about your hobby i dont think anyone calling it autistic is saying its bad
I should definitely get a journal for note-taking. Most of my notes are pieces of paper scattered around my room.
that's a very autistic thing to say
practise
This has got to be some of the worst handwriting I've ever seen
I hated RDR2 but one thing I thought was pretty cool was how Arthur had cool drawings and John was just scribbles
I take it you haven't played RDR2.
One thing I did actually enjoy is like in Oblivion about how it would come up on screen and show you a "journal entry" of sorts when doing a quest.
Where to buy cool journals to write in for my persona 5 and kingdom hearts play throughs?
I liked some of the Journal entries in Morrowind. They had just the right amount of character without pushing too hard.
>There are people in this thread that don't keep gameplay journals
I liked that you actually had to use journal entries for directions and information. GPS compasses killed all sense of wonder and explorations in videogames at expense of convenience. Recently I've tried to play Red Dead Redemption 2 with HUD off and instantly realized it's not possible - developers rely on players following minimap directions so much that character directions and quests and logical hoops make no sense. The main character receives no information on where he should go yet telepathically knows that he should go stand in a small circle at that particular point of the map 500 meters away.
just make your own. all you need is paper & thread/staples/glue.
More games should let you keep an in-game journal with your own notes and let you draw on maps to mark locked doors, traps, npcs etc.
>Hah fuck off im a straight white male with a less than herculian jaw line. Societys worst nightmare
literally this dont forget balding and bad teeth. I also have high functioning autism, add, adhd, bpd, schizophrenia, fanta lemo, dyslexia and crabs
Cmon where to get cool journals
Journalkino
That's amazing
I like to play Conquest of Elysium 4 and make up stories about the generated world, it's locations, events and armies wandering and campaigning around it.
