Warhammer 40k

With the announcement of 9th Edition, what possible 40k video games would you like to see come out? Return to DoW1? DoW2 but with more factions?

More like cuckhammer 40%.

total war: warhammer 40k
i just want thousands of units on screen, not that dow crap

That's a very tall lady. I wouldn't mind another crack at the Space Marine/ Eternal crusade formula. The latter preferably not by a phone-game company.

>10 miles thicc plot armor on her
love it

More third-rate clones of better titles such as Gears of War, Diablo 2, XCOM, and Civilization.

Where is correlation tourist??

where is english ESL?

>40k
>thousands of units on screen

Imaging being proud to be anglo or mutt

You're right, there are no massive-scale battles in Warhammer 40k.

That Path of Exile knockoff Inquisitor is actually not bad if you get it for 80% off the complete pack. At least 80% off. Or just pirate it.

>Total War
Why not Wargames or literally any other kind of game of proper scale? Why do you want literally the worst option outside of maybe a Dune II mod?

>Why do you want literally the worst option outside of maybe a Dune II mod?
Because TWW exists

>Wargames has no build up stuff which I enjoy
Wargames is just fuck huge scales battles but that's it.
Total War is a mix of big scale battles and more.

I didn't comment on whether the games were any good or not, but you can't deny that save for Total Warhammer and DoW, all of the GW licensed titles have been clones of better games developed by phone game companies.

I'd be interested in some sort of grand strategy game where you deploy forces across the galaxy and manage the empire

That already exists to a degree. It's a high autism game tho

It's not a problem if these games are good.

If only there was a company that specified on crapping out that kind of content, there would be no need for you to beg someone to make a Warhammer 40k game that has nothing in common with Warhammer 40k with the exception of faction names.

People don't know THAT is a thing and just assume it's all smaller scale because they're too poor to pay the Jews' Workshop fee for big battles.
You said "third rate", which is a comment stating the game is not good. Anything "third rate" is not good. The Inquisitor game I mentioned I believe is "second rate" with the only "first rate" games in that genre being shit like Diablo 1 and 2.

Space Marine 2. Make it a fully-fledged FPS.

>It's a high autism game tho
Nope it's just a bad game

Fire Warrior but good

whatever you wanna believe user

Total Warhammer still plays on Total War's strengths since its mostly works off of Renaissance era combat. If they were going to do something like 40K they may as well make a new engine at that point.
You don't think they can just add a world map? Are you implying I meant 1:1 recreation like a mod or something?

what was that FPS where it was like 100 vs 100 people on a giant ass map? I know thats a lot of games but theres one I had in mind, sci-fi-ish. I wonder if they could make a game like that but like IG vs Orks or Tyranid

literally just make space marine 2 but in 2020 and also make a VR game thats all you gotta do my niggas is FREE money. You don't gotta keep playing with dolls anymore.

Fire Warrior was a PSX game.

>You think I meant what I literally said?
You tell me

Save for maybe DoW and Total Warhammer, those games are all third rate. The only memorable one that comes to mind is Space Hulk: Deathwing, and even that one has its flaws despite being particularly unique. Every other Warhammer Fantasy / 40k game is a clone of a better game.
