Tonight we riot is propaganda and its not trying to hide it
>Bioshock
Propaganda meant to discredit libertarianism. What do you expect for someone named Levine?
Political Animals is underrated (although it kinda sucks that the only voting system is popular vote. It would be more fun to play with different voting systems.)
(and that's a good thing)
That's absolute nonsense, you don't know what you're talking about. Bioshock 1 is specifically a criticism of Ayn Rand's Objectivism, not fucking libertarianism. Everyone knows this you just need to pay attention to the game.
By contrast, Bioshock 2 is a criticism of totalitarianism and the devs have said openly that the antagonist directly took influence from Karl Marx. So if you're claiming the game has some kind of political agenda against libertarianism in particular, then you're just a fucking moron.
>right libertarian using a financially terrible practice like slavery
lmao
>Having outdated tools like slaves when we have have robots
Libertarianism has a lot in common with objectivism you fag. The first game demonizes anarchies-capitalism. They made it look like something outta Mad Max
Can it really be called slavery if they consent?
>libertarianism
>objectivism
reddit level autism
Bejeweled
Nier: Automata, but it's really big-brain and if you don't have a great understanding of philosophy and conflict theory you're probably not going to understand it.
>denying Rand’s influence on libertarians
You must be a weed-smoking faggot.
Levine said in an interview that BioShock is about being Jewish and is somewhat of an analogy for Israel.
>setting your labor costs (the most expensive part of anything now) to zero is a terrible practice
Retard.
Reddit was libertarian in maybe 2011-2012. They’re corporate leftists now.
All vidya is political.
Whats the problem if it isnt trying to hide it? You know what you're stepping into on the first frame
>increasing the risk of your business collapsing ten fold just to save in the short term
oh no no no
not an argument
thats still free market capitalism
>revisionist propaganda is somehow equivalent to actual genocide
but who is gonna buy your shit if it's done in a widespread manner?
You're right, it's much worse. You can always breed more people but once the truth is lost, it's lost forever.
Why the communist one my fellow gamer, I'm not a commie tho ahaha. Only authentic opinions and advice to be found here :^)
Any recommendations for excellent communist propaganda video games my fellow white male non-commie gamers? (^:
life is many shades of grey
This is why I'm a centrist, the thinking man's area.
>corporate leftists
They're called liberals and they're center-right, autist.
Indeed, libertarianism is a common theme of objectivism. However, by saying that the game is just propaganda against libertarianism, you really aren't doing it justice, and this is obviously a statement that is motivated by identity politics and bias. Like I said, Bioshock is a SPECIFIC criticism of Rand's political philosophy and not of libertarianism itself. You must remember that Rand's political philosophy is rather unique.
In any case, your retarded statement makes no sense, as Bioshock 2 exists as a scathing critique of authoritarianism. It serves as an effective counter-point to the radical individualism of Bioshock 1, and explores the oppressive regime of a police state that mascarades as a utilitarian, altruistic protector of the common needs of the many.
But I'm guessing you didn't play that game, because you were so assmad about the first game's criticism of Rand. Even if you did, it's obvious you totally missed the point of Bioshock 2 and totally ignored it's themes. What a fucking idiot.
>corporate leftists
They are liberals. Actual leftists are opposed to capitalism. Liberals are fence sitting centrists that only really help the right.
System Shock 2, which is anti-collectivism.
