I use a filter on my CRT that makes it look like an HD LCD

I was born in the '80s but I'm not gonna use a clunky CRT when shaders look just as good.

I was. But because I'm poor and because I was watching/playing on my CRT until 2 months ago.

I've been emulating without filters for nearly 20 years and I'm not about to change now.

Good luck playing PS2 games on a new HD TV, they look like shit.

They're doing CRT filter wrong. They don't take into account the energetic nature of CRTs. They just add a static gray mesh above the image, they don't realize they're just replicating LCD pixels. They're thinking of how modern tech works and applying it to old tech which is the wrong way of doing it.

Well for sure I dont miss being a living remote control. I do miss that you could hit the thing and it would, most of the time, fix itself. Fucking magic.
