TES+ I grabbed for $50 when MadCatz went under

What model fightstick is that? I know it doesn't come with those color buttons or knob. But how easy is it to find buttons like that and change out the standard ones?

I use the ultimate thirst for Chun-li's body and get really hype until all i want to do is play her game

DK bongos

I've really gotta teach myself to play Tekkn with a stick. Broken WAY too many controllers at this point.

Qanba Obsidian. Still going strong after 4 or so years.

You blind or just have tunnel vision? Says it right on the stick.

Is it me or do I see a penis in a chasity lock or something as the joystick?

I can't see that shit you dumb bitch

are you forced to play with those sticks when you play in a tournament? Wouldn't kb be more precise?

Illiterate retard

You can bring whatever you want as long as the tournament isn't being hosted on a cabinet. Some games have playerbases where the majority of entrants just use the stock controller that comes with the console. There was a dude who entered a UNI bracket with a guitar controller, a guy who won a Guilty Gear tournament with a racing wheel, and even someone who used a keyboard (the instrument).

The letters aren't even small...

better than a keyboard since I can use it on pc, ps4 and xbone without an adapter

Or unless the tournament has rules against it like when Daigo's Gafro box got banned from Evo

>a guy who won a Guilty Gear tournament with a racing wheel
>Initial T
Absolute madman. He didn't win the tournament though.

That was bullshit. The DS4 has the same capabilities, people just threw a fuckin stink on Twitter about it.

I got this a few weeks ago and it's my first stick. I wanted to see if I liked using a stick without spending a ton first and if I like it I'll get a better one later.

Keyboard
Yeah it was some horseshit. People have known for as long as Hitboxes have existed just how good they are
The only reason the Gafro box got banned is because Daigo is the first top level pro to show what one can really do
Lazy devs can't code their games so SOCD doesn't work so tournaments punish the players

Does anyone konw a good site to create custom ball tops and buttons, where you can add pictures on to them?

Attached: images[1].jpg (298x169, 7.4K)

Stop buying cheap so you don't have to buy it twice.

You'd probably have to comission someone directly for the vball top. Someone who knows how to cast resin properly

the etokki omni is overpriced for what it is but it's pretty okay. i prefer the 18" AFS cases

Etokki's look slick. If I ever wanna get a new stick, I'd like to try one with a Korean lever.

what's a good entry level stick?
I use an hori fighting commander pad but it's destroying my left hand

what's the difference between this and just a regular crown lever?

Generic usb controller master race reporting in

Thats disappointing but alright.
is there anyway to get custom buttons outside of buying clear buttons and putting paper inside it?

I'm not going to spend almost $300 on something I don't even know if I'll enjoy using, that would just be stupid.

Are the keys mechanical? I've been using keyboard for about 2 months now and actually starting to prefer it over a stick.

They lack the features of a typical high end stick (no cable storage compartment, no easy open access to replace parts) but they can take a fuckin beating and mines never given me an issue over the number of tournaments I've used it in. Absolutely worth the money imo

Qanba Obsidian
Razer Panthera
Well Crown levers are a piece of shit avoid them and get Sanwa or Hayabusa
And that's a Korean lever so the main difference is that it has a much stronger spring so returns to neutral much faster than a non Korean lever

Basic PS4 controller
I've been playing on pad too long, stick just feels totally wrong to me

Crown levers are korean though, and they use rubber grommets not springs. I just put one in my etokki

suck my dick

>Crown levers are a piece of shit avoid them
wrong. also crown 202 buttons are better than everything else on the market

How easy is it to mod an arcade stick as someone who knows very little about electronics? My old stick's gone and I can't find any new ones that have sanwa parts, so I'm thinking of getting a hori and modding sanwa parts in.

Attached: 1590327450951.png (472x436, 91.47K)

Yea they are. Never got the hang of using a stick, I always prefered buttons or keys for movement.
I'm not sure what the pricetag is for a universal keybox, I won mine in a youtube giveaway contest

Former pad anons, how long did it take you to get used to stick?

Crown buttons are awful
Sanwa and Hayabusa are the only buttons used on good sticks for a reason
Even the Koreans hate them

It's incredibly simple to open up the case and put new buttons in.

I just looked it up. The Universal is $400, but the PS4 version is $300 and seems to be identical.

At that point just buy a Qanba Obsidan or something user
Why buy a $200-250 stick and then drop more money on Sanwa buttons and a stick when you could just buy a stick with Sanwa buttons already in it?

Pretty easy, just when pulling off the quick disconnects pull from the connector and not the wire.

I want to bite the bullet on a fight stick but it feels like there’s no middle ground on price. It’s either some super expensive model or a cheap piece of shit that you would need to mod anyway making the price point moot. Anyone have any recommendations

Have you ever used an arcade cab before

Check out the new Neo Geo arcade stick on amazon. It's only like $120 and it has sanwa parts.
