Why does returning the master sword turn back time?

Why does returning the master sword turn back time?

The Master Sword keeps Link in the Temple of Light for 7 years when he pulls it from the pedestal, so returning it to the pedestal undoes the effect

who fucking cares, it's a magical time traveling sword.

it is only his consciousness traveling

But he's still been in the temple for 7 years, returning the sword doesn't change that

it doesn't, it's just a flashback

evidently it does considering he warps back 7 years when he puts it back

it's a symbol for DMT

So your answer is just
>Fuck you it's a time traveling sword
Gotcha

Why does OoT Link need to be an adult to use it but not WW Link?

WW link is the same age as the hero of time, according to his grandma at least

the pedestal is literally called the Pedestal of Time so it also plays a role in it

WW Link is the same age as young Oot Link, not adult Link.

The Pedestal is infused with timeshift stones from Skyward Sword, with an effective range across all of hyrule.
Removing the sword sends you 7 years in the future, replacing it sends you back to the moment you pulled it out.
Normally this would mean link should stay a kid even 7 years later, but Rauru exists beyond time and keeps link in stasis for 7 years so he can be fit enough to beat ganon.

bad writing but Zelda as a whole has fucking garbage consistency

Because they're all in different universes with different rules

cool headcanon dude

no it's just a big boy sword and putting the sword away reveals how much of a tiny boy you still are

he also pierces his ear

But WW is adult timeline, adult link was the hero that beat ganondorf.

And puts tights on him

Maybe living on a small island taking care of his sister and grandma as well as learning from a local bookworm and swords master gave him the skills and maturity of a 17 year old? Rather than living in the woods with a bunch of kids?

Why shouldn't it?

Age of consent is way lower in the WWverse

that's not how maturity works

Age of consent has nothing to do with adulthood.

Holy fuck imagine being stuck in that temple for 7 years.

I'm surprised he didn't snap

they literally keep some prisoners in USA in tiny cages for their whole lives

You are not asking the most important question. Why does links clothes change? Obviously he isnt wearing the same clothes as when he is an adult. Does sheik undress him?

God damn man, does every single thing need to be explained? You're the same faggot ruining movies requiring every minute detail to be explained.

he's not conscious the entire time

it's implied he is.

I have a Zelda question I don't wanna waste a thread for:
I bought a third party GBA-Gamecube link cable that works perfectly EXCEPT it permanently presses down the L and R buttons on my GBA SP when it's plugged in
Does this fuck up the Tingle Tuner and/or Four Swords? Like do they need the L and R buttons in any capacity while plugged in?

when? he wakes up in the temple after pulling the sword out and has no idea any time passed
