You don't seem to understand. TES fandom has lots of people who swear only by Morrowind, which is fine. There's also lots of people who focus almost singularly on Skyrim. Oblivion only fans don't really exist because they moved to Skyrim. So when you come whining about Skyrim but swear by Oblivion, you stand out. And you don't just stand out, but are immediately noticed as a part of that weird fanbase that played Oblivion as a kids as their first """RPG""" and are not really fans of the series nor do they interact with the wider fanbase.

Daggerfall was the real chad game. They scaled down Morrowind hard for whatever reason. I still like Morrowind because it is easier to get into than Daggerfall but there is no denying that the biggest series downgrade is Daggerfall to Morrowind and Morrowind is more like Oblivion and Skyrim than it is like Daggerfall.

Morrowind is still the best example of Todd Howard era TES

There's no Morrowind mentioned in the previous post.

I consider Morrowind to be in its own camp separate from both Arena/Daggerfall and Oblivion/Skyrim. The mechanics/features are just too different from either.

I'd rather not. The game already looks fine with mods. And Morrowind is trash, it doesn't need a remaster, if anything it needs a remake because of how awful walking and the combat is.

Daggerfall was ass from programing to content.
The only redeeming about it was the books.
Not even nostalgia can account for people making tbe claim it was the best so I am just going to assume ironic hipsterism is the culprit.
