unironically hope so

trust sweeny, your profits will be teeny

They have too many vaporware projects and no successful GAAS games. How many people are still playing Rainbow 6, the Division, or Ghost Recon? Their only hope is that people buy their singleplayer games and spend money on the "time saving" MTX dlc to prevent the shitty grinding done in their games.
I do think they have influenced modern day gaming trends for better or worse, so at least their devs are trying to innovate, and not all of their singleplayer games turn out bad and in fact I'd say they are actually pretty fun, better than what EA churns out at least

This graph is full of lies. Sony's PSN revenue alone dwarfs what ever operating profit is for Nintendo.

How does TT have THE best selling game of the generation and only make 50% more in income than Square Enix? Also, Damn, Bandai Namco.

serves them right, they trusted tim sweeny!

get woke go broke

Sony PSN alone shits on Nintendo. This graph is not accurate

They would probably have a better profit margin if they moved away from the micro transactions and work on PR for their brands.

Why the fuck is Konami even listed alongside a bunch of video game publishers when all that money is from gyms and pachinko parlors?

>ZhugeEX

That money doesn't go into Sony, dipshit. It goes into the companies that own the services that just happen to be on PSN.

>Sony's PSN revenue alone dwarfs what ever operating profit is for Nintendo.
Snoys are so dumb.

No, they have like 4 games coming out this year.

Do you understand the difference between revenue and profit user?

God I wish.

isn't ubi subsidized by the government?

>nearly 16k employees
how does that shit work man. i know they're split into different studios but i can't even imagine working at somewhere like ubisoft montreal where they've got 3.5k employees working a single game.

God I wish Sony would put out a dated system, sell it for 4 times it's value, produce cheap date games for $60, sell me toys to get DLC, make me buy peripherals because the controler it comes with is shit. Only then could I brag on Zig Forums about Sony making more money than Nintendo. Fuck Sony for selling quality at a reasonable price. I want to play gen 6 games on a Fisher Price tablet at an exorbitant cost.

We can only wish for but idiots keep buying brand over quality

Imagine working on a "part" of a game without seeing the whole picture of that part, not even the whole game, until release time. You are just one of thousands of contracted developers, and your job is to create a texture for random object #13298347 before moving onto the next one, or bake the lighting of an unfinished room in a level, not knowing how the rest of the level looks until release.

As long as they sell the Anno series to, I dunno, the factorio dev? Then I don't care what happens to them. 1800's legitimately my favorite game of all time, but I couldn't give less of a fuck about anything else they've done.

>graph goes from 500 to 1.0

>2018

Any country that uses a period instead of a comma to denote thousands has no right making fun of America for not using metric.

there's no way Nintendo only makes 3 million profit..

>Blizzard on third place
Take us corona-chan

to be fair a lot of that is CoD and shit too, not just blizzard's garbage

Profit isn’t income retard. Profit=revenue. For whatever reason it’s using operating profit, whatever that is instead of income or revenue.

That's 3 billion. Nintendo makes 3 billion and change yearly

I'm surprised Square Enix is just under Take Two considering Take Two is still making literal billions off GTAV years after launch.

Good time to buy ubi stock?

no, operating income doesn't mean what you think it means.

Is there any way to respond to posts faster? I'm tired of typing out the numbers.

I fucking hope so, Ubisoft's games haven't been good in literally like 15 years, and they're responsible for this awful homogenized open world trash infecting every AAA game.
