I can't do it anymore.
The day in, day out of running the same lost sector for the daily bounties. The limited time events that expect it to be the only game you grind. Crucible challenges that put you up against other sweaty nerds so your relaxing grinding game turns into a tryhard session. And none of the rewards ever end up being worth it.

I started "The Lie" and cleared out a lost sector with only my shotgun, checked the progress and saw it at 1%. Said fuck it and uninstalled the game. I just don't have time for that kind of grind these days.

desu I would buy them as coasters, that's fucking unbelievably cheap and it would tickle me to use them as such because it's a shit game and bungie are terrible devs

I played it for about 2 hours and everything felt completely pointless and the progression made no sense

It felt like I was grinding 30 minutes after character creation.

I literally had no fucking idea what to do when it was free when they were getting off b.net or whatever. Like I legit had no fucking clue what quest I should be doing. Games a fucking mess, at least Anthem let me know where to go

I thought Destiny 2 was going to be great because Rise of Iron and The Taken King were pretty good, just needed more content, which I was sure Destiny 2 would have. I was so fucking disappointed. I'll buy Destiny 3 because I'm a paypig but what the fuck Bungie. You have great gunplay and lore but they just can't make a fun game out of it.

it was all activision. the game immediately started getting better the moment bungie somehow broke away from them. its still shit though and plays exactly like a free to play game should.
the weapons all being basic bitch rifles and pistols and shit is what pisses me off the most. you could have had all kinds of crazy cool weapons but no we got bullets in fucking space

if the game is fun, you wouldn't mind grinding. in fact it wouldn't even be called a grind it would be called "playing the game". we need to ask ourselves why people would rather play halo for the 84th time than play anymore of destiny?

the problem is the game is not fun, so if it isn't fun then why bother?

Game plays itself is the problem. Outside of raids which have their own mechanics, you can just turn your brain off and go on auto pilot. The game is too easy and enemies, regardless of faction, all play the same.

Because Bungie is a studio of inept, moneygrubbing retards who implement the most hamfisted, broad-strokes solutions to the simplest of problems which drain their game of all fun there is to be had. Which isn't a lot because they keep on recycling and reskinning old content and claiming it is new.

This is less for balancing, and more because you can't rely on a trusty set of weapons anymore, you need to keep grinding.

I never was a fan in the first place, I saw the game in action in 2015 and realized "oh, it's the same bullshit from the first game"
