>console gaming
Console gaming
what matters is that it has EPIC GRAPHICS that look great in advertisements!
>console
no, this is just cuckstar trying to make movies instead of video games.
>PC gaming
Now show the same thing on PC using a controller. This is only one half of the argument.
Bro would you shut the fuck up and stop being autistic.
Just let me pay $60 to use my internet on my console just to play games at subpar frame rates and graphical fidelity at peace all while buying $60 exclusive movies every 2 years.
>every game has to look like Minesweeper or it's a movie
That kinda makes the movement look more natural, compared to a sudden stop.
Now what's the input delay of the monitor?
Heavenly sword was pretty clunky to be honest
It's not the controller that's the issue, ignoramus. It's the amount of processing that has to be done before the screen updates. On PC the input delay would be reduced drastically and can be reduced further by turning off things like vsync and post processing
>moving goalposts

No more attention.
Ninja Theory has not made a single good game.
You can play consoleshit on a gaming monitor too. Your $500 4k "smart" TV's game mode is still 20ms at best
Consoles are shit, but the latency is likely the TV's fault. I played RDR1 on a CRT to make the best of a bad situation
>Consoles are shit, but the latency is likely the TV's fault.
no it isn't, it's the game
it is a game design choice you dumb fuck.
console games are designed in a way to work with tvs with low response times
That's your TV being shit. Between your console responding to you and showing that response on your TV, there is a delay. Naturally, you want you delay to be as small as possible, but some TVs have a delay as close to 1 (one) second. Naturally, these TVs are not meant for gaming. Sorry retard, better luck next time
Then show that. How do I know that the same delay doesn't also exist on other versions? I'm not just going to take your word for it, ignoramus.
thanks i won
Input delay on movement is actually pretty common throughout a wide array of games. Some may exaggerate it, but it definitely exists on most games.
0 Input latency is not something desirable.
If this were an accurate representation of console gaming beating Bloodborne would literally be impossible
So, what you're saying is console games are for braindead subhumans
I thought that was Stadia lmao.
>I played RDR1 on a CRT
>because of display latency
20ms is nothing compared to the actual full second delay that is just part of RDR 2 no matter what screen you're playing on you fuckin dingus
>On PC the input delay would be reduced drastically
Yeah that's what he was asking OP to show.
>It's not the controller that's the issue, ignoramus.
Yes, and something like 99% of all console gamers play on TVs, most of whom have no fucking clue how great the delay is. Sorry retard, better luck next time.
>none of these people ITT know they're actually calculating physics ahead of time and rendering what happens in the game late, a technique from online games for keeping games in sync used to make sure your logic is never getting ahead of your physics engine
It's just the animations that are slow. First person is more responsive
many games implement a partial delay in inputs in an attempt to make the inputs more weighty. It's dumb, but you're also using a rockstar game for reference, so you're actually retarded.
So plugging my PS4 into a faggy 24 inch monitor is better than playing on my 65" 4K HDR TV?
This is common knowledge and not something that can be debated in any way. The combination of shitty hardware and TVs will never be as responsive as a PC and a monitor. That goes double for monitors made specifically for gaming which can be up to 3 times faster than console.
>a technique from online games
>in the single player mode
>0 Input latency is not something desirable.
This has to go down alongside "silky smooth 30fps" in the annals of retarded nonwhite consolefag sayings
Even ignoring the tv lag, rdr2 animations are delayed as fuck. the character starts moving after like 20ms that its animation starts
The 100ms of input lag makes the experience more cinematic and helps fight white supremacy since whites have lower reaction time
It's an open world game, EPIC GRAPHICS are there for immersion and they work pretty good in RDR2.
>what is lag compensation
I don't give a shit about For Honor's stats. Show me RDR's lack of input delay on PC. That is all I am asking for fuck's sake. Quit dodging the issue.
It doesn't have that lag on the PC version.
It's the same on Pc user.
what even is a movie game? I thought shit like Telltale games are movie games. Even so, if that's the case, so is shit like Monkey's Island or Sam and Max.
it's a console game, why would they suddenly change its render pipeline to be faster for PC? the only difference is it will get more frames
Quit dodging the issue. SHOW THE PC DELAY OR FUCK OFF.
Holy dusty PC
anything that pclards can't play (console exclusives) are called movies out of spite
