It obviously didn't happen. The characters and tone of the story should be in the fucking terms of reference, as well as general summary, it's not like OP pitched his idea to anyone. Nobody fucking waits on writer to fully write a story, they have a fucking product to make. Plus he would have to be in constant contact with the project manager and the editor, they should have already pointed it out what is needed out of him. And if he did pitch a project, then he didn't just write a story.

The root of it all is Autism.

Autists love video games and are good at a lot of the routine shit that helps with coding and testing for flaws. They also tend to obsess over stupid political shit, tending toward being far right or far left. Mix that in with the huge correlation between Autism and Trooning out and all of a sudden the video game industry is filled with obsessive weirdos who can't shut up about shit no one cares about.

This is why bullying is a fundamental aspect of human development and should be encouraged. This is especially true in the case of autists.
