75. As a new player, you'll want to jump into an emergency quest as soon as it appears. You can level up fairly quickly if you chain runs. (Depending on the EQ)

yeah, you can just bank shit while in the area but then you just get stuck with tedium of dumping all the shit in, pick up the rest, identifying it then getting the rest out and identifying that

you can drop stuff in bank in the smaller ship but if you leave to main ship you lose whatever was left
