Most Wii games have 16-bit color with dithering. It has a limited color gamut. I don’t think they ruined the colors rather the Wii didn’t have the colors

Someone commented on another thread that some Nvidia GPUs generate cleaner images when compared to AMD equivalents for certain types of lighting. It must be because of that.
