I stream an no one watches because I am a retard and boring!

I want to upload short 5 min movie reviews but when I record my voice I sound awkward and stammer like an incel talking to a girl, but if I write a script I sound like a robot with no personality. I wouldn’t mind twitch streaming but I really couldn’t care less about video games other than Rocket League and games that aren’t fun to watch (playing Planet Zoo right now)

>I record my voice I sound awkward
I know that feel

Just upload, you'll have to get used to it and get more comfortable with talking, I'm bad at talking too but I'm still trying to do stuff

it's not worth it, only use youtube to share cool moments with friends

Can I be your friend user

The funny thing is back when I was a kid I uploaded stuff and was really excited and all that. Nowadays I’ve just got a few random meme videos and shit I’ve just made for myself. Thank you for the advice

I don't even know what to upload anymore. But I could use the sub

Attached: 15cc00eb68762d0a352d886995abaed5.jpg (640x1280, 64.84K)

I was on youtube for like 8 years uploading a new video every week about video games, never broke 1000 subs.
Moved to twitch, had 250 viewers in the first month after buying a 50 viewer viewbot and jumping up to the near top of the game I played, and my youtube channel basically just became for highlights I lazily slap together with no editing.
It's a lot easier, and just makes me sad because I would spend 20-30 hours making a good 15 minute video that I really loved, and people just want the laziest shit instead.

ok

Stopped. Not fun anymore

I already subbed to you,

>"x in 20xx"
stop

FORTNITE

6 subscribers, only upload is a 45 second clip of Dark Messiah's audio engine spazzing out in an odd manner. Living the life.

I post gameplay videos on Tik Tok

Shaddup

WITH AIRPODS?

I don't know what to do with it because everytime I have a good idea I just throw it away weeks later because the internet changes too fucking fast. Right now I have the thought of making a series around Vidya movies and cartoons like Sonic Boom, Prince of Persia or that time Rayman had a cartoon.
Damn, kinda sucks that your most watched video is Madden. It's kinda like my channel, I uploaded a video about the Castlevania songs that are in SSB Ultimate. I just want to create something good but I just feel at the end that it is not going to be a good idea.

>several dozen of my videos have 800+ views
>2 subs
amen brother.

That's depressing. I've been spending a fair amount of time on the videos I've put out, and they've only got a couple hundred views each. I've been tempted to stream as well, but it just doesn't appeal to me the same way video essays do.

This guy is right talking into a microphone is a learned skill and you have to practice to get better.

im getting indian or something viewers subbing to me

im almost half way to sub requirement for monetizaion but I probably wont fuck with it anyway.

Nobody watches because nobody knows who you are. That makes it sound like it's really hard to stream successfully right? It is.

Pretty much how I felt. I made things I loved, and no one cared. Now I get blackout drunk, just stream myself playing the game I play, pull ~400 viewers on average. Stream highlights get anywhere from 10k to 20k videos first 24h.
I tried making another edited video just to see how rusty I was, and it was pretty much universally disliked by my audience.

I'll say something racist and obscene and them everyone will watch me

>Zig Forums streamer
>pulls 400 viewers

botted viewers dont count

>tfw voice sounds nasally

Do you stream popular games? I also suspect no one would watch me stream because I'd want to play older games

its shit.
I have zero attn span I guess

Over 1,500 subs.
Gave up 4 months ago.
All my friends are gone and I dedicated a year of my life to one, which I trusted a lot to, then ended up joining a group of trannies that want to cancel me pretty much.

Honestly it's not worth it if you do it alone, unless you have the drive to be alone.

They aren't. And I'm not a Zig Forums streamer. Never once posted my channel or youtube here because that's fag shit.
I originally only played r6 siege, and wildlands, I've branched out a little, I wouldn't call myself a variety streamer but I play new releases now too. Older stuff is usually an enormous drop, like 85% or more. Nobody wants to watch that stuff.

>tfw 1/20 chance I have a decent but somewhat low pitched voice
>every other time its nasily

I think I'm gonna be sick user...

Weekly video game news podcast. We didn't record this week so I'm just going to upload junk audio of my friends screaming while playing DotA.
Which is a shame because a ton of crazy shit happened this week

Attached: 1579841580821.jpg (600x503, 28.67K)

I feel like making a channel for fun would be a nice and comfy hobby but I'm not sure what I'd make videos about.
The only thing I can think of doing is just supercut videos playing old nip games with some commentary.

ok well shilling on reddit is just as bad

I finally had an idea for a video I want to make. I already wrote the script and I'll probably record and edit it tomorrow.

Attached: 1590197863787.png (983x897, 268.35K)

Oh shit, I forgot

Why are you uploading something that you know to be shit? Fuck metrics and wait until next week

Probably, you won't get immediately reamed and spammed with a bunch of shit that gets you banned if you shill on reddit though. I love interacting with people on Zig Forums but I'd sooner kill myself than have them in my stream, they're insufferable faggots.

Yeah man, I know that feel. I really hate my own voice. The truth is you just sort of have to get over yourself, unless you're willing to get into vocal training and putting on an affectation 100% of the time like a tranny or something you're just going to be stuck with your own voice so you might as well get used to it. I personally overcompensate by doing like ten to fifteen takes per line until I feel like I have a delivery that sounds okay.

Just fine, user. Thanks for asking.
Planning on doing a video about a figure that came in the mail this week.

>Used to stream D&D stuff
>Couldn't really muster up the energy to put work into editing and cleaning it up for youtube
>Streaming every day of the week meant the backlog of stuff to get cut, tagged, playlisted, and uploaded properly was always piling up.
>Ended up with dozens and dozens of videos unlisted or private, never really got any traction on Youtube at all
>Ended up crashing and burning pretty hardcore, stopped doing all that stuff and couldn't go back after over a year, coming up on 2 away.
>Just left with all this stuff on a dead channel that no one ever really cared about.

It's sad because I know how easy it would have been to be successful. A few of my friends are huge Youtubers who basically just make "Top 10 Wizard spells in D&D" videos and get hundreds of thousands of views every time and use those metrics to snatch up sponsorships and projects to work on and stuff. Selling it seems so easy.

I quit uploading because it turns out there's no market for a low-effort vtuber channel voiced by a guy using an off-the-shelf facerig model playing Solitaire while rambling for 6 minutes. I still get drunk and stream to my three or four friends who tune in though.

>turns out there's no market for a low effort faggot
wow! color me shocked

it's okay that your high-effort faggotry is failing, but don't take it out on me, pal.

whats more important for getting peoples attention on twitch? the channel name or the thumbnail?

i got affiliate on twitch, so I get 3 emotes for shitposting/trolling

Both,

Title. No one looks at the thumbnail except to check if a girl is there. No one usually cares about the channel name unless it's really short and easy (IE a 4 letter channel name) or unique and easily memorized.

Eh it'll be kinda funny. I'd rather consistently upload for my own momentum as I'm prone to being lazy and depressive.
I'd still much rather record the podcast because they're a lot of fun. Plus I get to make these horrible thumbnails and sneak hitler in them

Attached: Ep 9 Thumbnail.jpg (1538x859, 219.62K)

>tfw have kind a shitty twitch name
>want to change it
>have had this name for years

I should just stream on an alt or something

I didn't think about that aspect. Kino thumbnail editing
I've not been keeping up with my "radio" podcasts and don't know when I'll make another with a friend
