>Fans have reported that industry insiders have teased...
You faggots going to get burned again like the nincels who believed that one "scoop" how P5S was a Switch port.

I'd be really fucking mad.

What is taking this shit so long, it's gonna be made using mostly Persona 5 assets so what's the hold up?

>Fans

i would believe it if there has been exactly zero development and it's just a concept drawing

I don't understand how news companies like this manage to stay afloat. I mean they have to be wrong about their speculation 99% of the time as most of it's just "my friend's anonymous source's cat's cousin predicted X from a crystal ball".

How the fuck do games news sites stay afloat when all they produce is shit? Who reads this crap?

>fans
>"industry insiders"
>headline: ATLUS TEASES PERSONA 6

Any day now.

>this is only an issue now
The writing on the wall was when Atlus continually whored out Persona 4. It's very simple: waifus sell, demons don't.

IF they announce anything they'll announce the Project Re Fantasy game that the Persona director has been working on. ATLUS isn't going to fuck up like this again with announcing a game 4 years too soon.

demon waifus

>How the fuck do games news sites stay afloat when all they produce is shit?
they have the benefit of the doubt by saying they had a bad source. Movie guys may be able to get away with it more with "well that wasn't the cut I've seen in the screen test."

Neither of those stand a chance of being there, it's just ATLUS USA, they couldn't give news on a new game even if they wanted to. It'll be P5S' localisation and maybe something about 13 Sentinels.

>Announcing P6 this quick

Extreme Doubt. P5 isn't milked enough yet.

Persona 5 did well so I can't imagine they're going to say anything about a P6 until they whore that out some more. Persona 4 got loads of mileage that way, don't see why they would stop now.

Gell-Mann amnesia effect

>“Briefly stated, the Gell-Mann Amnesia effect is as follows. You open the newspaper to an article on some subject you know well. In Murray’s case, physics. In mine, show business. You read the article and see the journalist has absolutely no understanding of either the facts or the issues. Often, the article is so wrong it actually presents the story backward—reversing cause and effect. I call these the “wet streets cause rain” stories. Paper’s full of them.

>In any case, you read with exasperation or amusement the multiple errors in a story, and then turn the page to national or international affairs, and read as if the rest of the newspaper was somehow more accurate about Palestine than the baloney you just read. You turn the page, and forget what you know.”

a 13 sentinels announcement would be great. it turned out fine, and it might motivate the autist mad that it wasn't odin sphere 4 to advertise it for free again

>The restart of the five-year Atlus development cycle
I don't even care anymore, give me SMTV or Desu3

enjoy your mobile gacha

Inb4 Nintendies start speculating that it'll be on the switch or even an exclusive and get mad when its PS5 only

P4 was only two years after P3, it's not impossible.

The real reason this is complete bullshit is that Atlus literally never fucking reveals ANYTHING of substance at western events.

What about Re Fantasy?

>teasing P6 at a western event.
Do these retards not know how Atlus rolls?

persona 6 is xbone 2 exclusive
source: my dad works for nintendo

Gaming journalism is such a fucking joke that their source being a reddit post does not surprise me

I mean persona 3 and 4 is only like 2 years apart

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Persona 5 came out in 2015, the spin off games were all developed outside of the company, they probably split their a team with 33% working on P5R and 66% working on P6

>Check the article source
>It's a fucking shitpost on Zig Forums
Games journalism is a fucking joke.

Attached: oe2csP6.png (1310x434, 108.43K)

They originally planned for a 2013 release of P5 they just ran into problems /ended up fleshing out their original P5 tech demo into the full game known as Catherine just to make sure they would be more experienced to make Persona 5

>all these retards thinking fatlus west would announce anything before japan
>retards not knowing the source is a reddit post of a fucking Zig Forums screenshot
you zoomers that wanna see every game fail need to fucking lurk moar and stop getting baited by every gaming "news" site that exists just to harvest your information and sell it to advertising botnets

Attached: char-raidou-2.jpg (649x649, 119.67K)

It's not, that post doesn't even mention p6

p5 came out in 2016, and all of their studios have been busy this entire time unless they've scrapped smt v or project re fantasy

>Based on a plebbit rumor
>Said rumor is from Zig Forums

The only thing you're gonna see from Atlus at NGP expo is Catherine on the Switch.

No, P studio has had 4 years to only produce an updated version of p5, they've been doing something else

I'd expect the Persona 5 Scramble localization announcement too.

Oh yeah, that also. Forgot they hadn't announced that yet lol
